CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) - A teacher and former councilman in Camden County faces prison after admitting he engaged in inappropriate sexual communications with 17 male students. Charles Reilly is scheduled to be sentenced Friday after he pleaded guilty to official misconduct, child endangerment and attempted child endangerment.

A Randolph County teacher is behind bars after he allegedly exchanged sexual texts, phone calls, and pictures with a 16-year-old student. According to the criminal complaint, 34-year-old Donald Johnson allegedly sent multiple sexual messages to one of his own students.

Former Dover area music teacher Matthew Puterbaugh now faces charges of rape of a child and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a minor. A former administrator of a private, special needs school in Carrollton has been arrested on sexual assault charges. David Green, 66, a resident of Wills Point, was arrested by Carrollton police on Thursday. Green, who served as a teacher at St. Anthony School from 1998 to 2010, was charged with four counts of sexual assault with a child and one count of indecency with a child. A former Western Albemarle High School teacher already facing charges is back in jail. Waynesboro police arrested John Daniel Patterson Jr. for child porn and solicitation of a minor. This is round two of charges for Patterson. The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office arrested Patterson in April when he thought he was talking to a 13-year-old boy, but it was actually a police sting. A Newport Beach school teacher arrested earlier this year on suspicion of hoarding and neglecting hundreds of snakes pleaded guilty Thursday to one misdemeanor charge of animal cruelty.
