The British terror suspect killed in a Pakistan drone strike last month had been elected leader of an al-Qaeda group called The Islamic Army of Great Britain, according to reports. According to the source, Jabbar was living in Punjab, and was chosen as the leader of a new group, to be called The Islamic Army of Great Britain. The decision was apparently made during a meeting in the North Waziristan region of Pakistan three months ago, attended by 300 militants and monitored by intelligence agencies.

Three hostages were rescued from the headquarters of the Discovery Channel in Silver Spring, Maryland, Wednesday afternoon after police shot the man who was holding them, Montgomery County Police Chief J. Terror suspect Faisal Shahzad, who is accused of attempting to bomb New York’s Times Square, was indicted by a federal grand jury in New York on 10 terror-related counts, local media reported. St. Paul, Minn. — A convenience store clerk apparently shot a robbery suspect Thursday night near Lake Minnetonka, police said. The robbery suspect was recovering at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. South Lake Minnetonka Police Chief Brian Litsey says officers were called to the Lakeshore Market in Greenwood at about 10:30 p.m. "Two armed male suspects wearing masks had just fled the market after encountering the clerk inside, who was also armed," he said. "At least one of the suspects was wounded during the encounter with the clerk."

You would think that in the midst of the liberal media's fight to rip Arizona's Immigration Law, that the phrase ‘illegal immigrant' would be fairly easy to use in an appropriate manner. Yet that is seemingly only the case when the phrase is used to cast common-sense immigration enforcement as discriminatory. But when it comes to a story that could shed light on why enforcement is a necessity for the safety and security of a nation and its people, then the phrase - no matter how accurate - is quickly forgotten.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Top U.S. law enforcement officials offered no explanation Tuesday for how the suspect in the failed Times Square bombing was allowed to board an international flight despite being hunted by the FBI and being placed on the federal no-fly list. At a news conference, Attorney General Eric Holder said the suspect, Faisal Shahzad, had admitted trying to set off a car bomb in crowded Times Square on Saturday. He will face terrorism and weapons of mass destruction charges, Holder said.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A murder suspect has died after being found unresponsive at the Orange County Jail. A sheriff's spokesman said Korey Boisselle, 21, was found inside his single-person cell Tuesday afternoon. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital a short time later.
