DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Police are investigating after a body was found in the street Wednesday afternoon at Singleton Boulevard and Vilbig Road. Witnesses tell CBSDFW they saw a man scribble something in Spanish on his van. He then tied one end of a rope around his neck and the other end around a fire hydrant. The man then drove off, decapitating himself. The van came to a stop without hurting anyone. It’s not clear exactly what the man wrote on the van.

(CNN) -- A missing Ohio State University football player has been found dead, authorities said Sunday. Kosta Karageorge, a fifth-year senior, had missed practice Wednesday and hadn't been seen since. Sgt. Richard Weiner, with Columbus police, said that Karageorge died from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His body was found inside a Dumpster and identified at the scene through tattoos, Weiner said. A handgun was also recovered at the scene. It was not immediately clear how long the body had been in the Dumpster, Weiner said. An investigation is ongoing.

Police say an Ohio State football player who disappeared shortly after sending a text message about his concussions was found dead Sunday in a dumpster, apparently of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Jean Duley testified that she was "scared to death" of Bruce Ivins after he left her a string of harassing phone messages, according to an audio recording taken during a July 24 peace order hearing.
