A man fleeing police at speeds in excess of 120 mph was arrested after crashing into two other cars in separate incidents during a midafternoon chase on northbound state Route 163. The 25-year-old suffered injuries in the second collision near Kearny Villa Road and was taken to a hospital. Two other drivers injured in the crashes also were hospitalized. ABC13 Eyewitness News (6/14/04 - HOUSTON) — A man standing on top of a 345,000-volt transmission tower in southwest Houston is causing quite a commotion. The man has been standing on top of the electrical tower at Westpark and Gessner since at least 10:30am. There is no indication why the man is there. A witness who apparently saw the man climb the pole was concerned and called police. CenterPoint Energy has cut the power to that particular tower. No customers in the area are affected.
