  • Obama and a Doctrine of Dishonesty

[Summary: Obama lies casually. He says what is expedient at the moment. This tendency is disfiguring his presidency and harming the country.]-- Muslims have a provision in their religious doctrine that allows them to lie. Indeed, they are in some situations commanded to lie, for example, if a lie will help Islam. This doctrine is fully articulated in many places. Lying is thought of as part of Islam’s toolbox for conquering non-Muslims. However, this doctrine (taqiyya) is also used between Sunnis and Shias, as each may be commanded to lie to the other. It’s easy to see that taqiyya could...

A married Army general on Tuesday introduced his spouse at a Pentagon event that featured lots of top brass, including Defense Secretary Ashton Carter as the keynote speaker. What made this seemingly routine introduction noteworthy is that Brig. Gen. Randy S. Taylor introduced his husband, Lucas. “My husband Lucas is sitting up front here,” Gen. Taylor said of the man in the same row as Mr. Carter, Army Secretary John McHugh and other senior officials. He said Lucas has subjugated his own career to support the general’s frequent moves over an 18-year relationship.
  • Virginia Tech engineering professor discusses gender-based violence in STEM fields

Donna Riley, an engineering professor at Virginia Tech, visited the University Monday to discuss gender-based violence in science, technology, engineering and math fields. Riley discussed and analyzed the engineering, academic and broader U.S. cultures which work together to deny gender-based violence. Riley said gender-based violence not only includes rape, but also stalking, intimate partner violence, harassment, non-consensual sexual contact, verbal abuse and misogynist hate crimes. In the Survey of Academic Field Experiences published by science journal PLOS One in 2014, Riley said two-thirds of women surveyed reported being the victim of sexual harassment while researching in a scientific field, and...

Someone was joking recently that the reason the Eastern Orthodox cannot have women bishops is because one can’t call a woman “Patriarch.” Behind the wisecrack is some wisdom, and the existence of women ministers in non-Catholic denominations raises the question of just how patriarchal the Christian religion must be.  Is it necessary to call priests “Father” and refer to the Pope as “Holy Father”? The title “Abbot” comes from the ancient term “Abba-Father,” and “pope” comes from the Greek word pappas — “daddy.” Are these no more than human traditions? Are these just social constructs? Or is the idea of...

There is no “stigma,” and comparisons to criminal imprisonment are absurd. The first responsibility of the president of the United States is national security. In the absence of presidential leadership as Ebola makes inroads in our country, state officials such as New Jersey governor Chris Christie have stepped into the security breach, taking commonsense steps to protect their citizens from the deadly virus. One of those measures is to quarantine those who have been exposed to Ebola, including health-care professionals who have risked their own lives to fight the disease. As a public-health precaution, it is entirely reasonable for states...

Under the program, immigrants from those countries who are lawfully in the United States will be able to request that child relatives still in those three countries be resettled in the United States as refugees. The program would establish in-country processing to screen the young people to determine if they qualify to join relatives in the U.S.

First, the network would build a Cuban audience, mostly young people; then, the plan was to push them toward dissent.

The Dirty Bastard Keynes Keynes was a Communist. He designed a system that was intended to pauperise the Capitalist bourgoisie. By design, his monetary policy is counter cyclical. Therefor as soon as there is surplus income leading to demand for goods and inflating their prices, the Keynesian reflex is to reduce the supply of money. This means that because of the mostly suppressed demand the occasional bout of prosperity leads to ruthless increases in interest rates and taxes, and to an inability of the middle class to save, either for the present or the future. Beware America, I bring you news of your own death; “a pale shroud laid out by your own hand”. IDIOTICALLY, you have given religion status to an enemy invader called Islam; thereby egregiously violating the foremost principles of national security, sovereignty and warfare: An enemy invader must never (never) be classified as a religion. Doing so is equivalent to a mad doctor injecting deadly cancer cells into a healthy patient in this case America. Look how Muslims are “shoving mosques down our throat” even at the hallowed “ground zero” of 9/11. They “thumb their noses” and jeer us, adding insult...

Cockroaches, bugs, mold, and flies. These are just some of the props and rumors allegedly employed by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) against the American unit of French catering company Sodexo. And the company’s had enough. Fed up with tactics that include intimidation, extortion, and yes, sabotage that apparently includes plastic cockroaches, Sodexo filed a lawsuit against the SEIU last week under the Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt

For those of you who have thought conservatives have been over-reacting to Barack Obama’s ongoing tied-at-the-hip relationship to unions – specifically – SEIU: Sit down, shut up and LEARN! It’s an event that will undoubtedly cause Eric Holder to have to bury his head at least 2 feet below “See-level” (using union thugs to shield him, no doubt). According to Business Insider, The Blaze and Glenn Beck, former SEIU officer Steve Lerner has been caught on audio tape (recorded at in a closed session at a Pace University forum last weekend) detailing a secret plan that is designed to: o...

In the aftermath of the attempted murder of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords earlier this month, lawmakers on Capitol Hill have proposed a cluster of gun control measures ranging from a ban to knowingly carrying a firearm within 1,000 feet of certain high-profile government officials to a proposal to allow members of Congress to carry firearms in the U.S. Capitol. Rep. Carolyn McCarthy formally introduced her own bill on the House floor Tuesday that would ban high-capacity ammunition clips like the one Jared Loughner used to gun down 19 individuals in the Tucson shooting Jan. 8. McCarthy, who is regarded as one...

The left are destroyers. They have destroyed America and they have done this by working from the inside. Like termites will destroy your house by working away in dark places where they cannot be seen, so the success of the left’s strategy depends upon their true objective remaining in the shadows. Harsh but truthful public criticism is at last casting those shadows aside. The left are being seen more and more for what they really are and they desperately need to stop this shining of light. However here readers, is the real issue. They criticize us for “angry” speech. In...
