How well can a giant rock hold up against shots from a .50-caliber rifle? Shooting .50-caliber is no joke. But, when you go up against Mother Nature, rarely do you win. Youtuber Edwin Sarkissian takes on a giant rock with various calibers pistols and rifles, that includes: 9mm pistols .44 Magnum .22 LR .223 AR-15 .50 Cal Incendiary The results is obvious but fun to watch. This boulder won and stood up to all of these rounds even against the Raufus round with a Tungstun core. The danger behind this experiment were ricochets, highly suggest you play it safe. Don't...

Firearms are awesome machines useful for many different things, but is it useful for splitting logs? Can you split wood with bullets? It may not be super effective, but its probably very fun to try. I mean who needs an axe or log splitter when you have heavy artillery and plenty of ammo?, as the theory goes. Youtuber Edwin Sarkissian decides to try this hypothesis out. Watch as he runs through a number of different calibers attempting to split a large log. After many tries with different types of caliber against a foot and a half diameter piece of log....

Shooting explosive target can be a fun way to pass the day, but safety should be paramount. Many gun enthusiasts forget being at a safe distance is key to enjoyment and being safe from possible flying debris. Experts advised being at 100 yards away for every pounds of explosives. Don’t be like this fellow below. Youtuber Dixie Dirt Draggers is standing way too close to his target. After missing some shots he finally hits the mark which resulted in a huge explosion that sends the shrapnel flying back at the shooter and bystanders. Yes, it sure look like fun but...

We’ve all seen the bulletproof glass that banks have at the teller. Ever wonder how effective it is? Well this Youtuber TotallyRad have been thinking this over for a long time and he now has the ballz to test it out. Not just shooting at the bulletproof glass but he’s going to get behind the glass and have his friend shoot at it. Though, he keeps iterating that he’s dumb for doing this. He obviously is an adrenalin junkie. There are many unwise decisions in life, this is certainly one of those. His friend shot at him 3 times...

Want to see something fun? These guys came upon an old propane tank on a small pond. With much time on their hand, they came up with the idea to blow it up since it was an old propane tank. With a .270 rifle, propane tank and friends. What better way to bond more with friends then to blow the propane to smithering, redneck style! I can imagine the looks on the neighbor and passerby faces when they heard the explosion and cloud filling the sky. Makes you wonder how many propane tanks these guys have blown up on the...

Shooting at Tannerite can be fun to watch, but its important to be safety minded. In reality this is explosives and there are instances where accident happens when one doesn’t heed to safety. Like this 23-year-old David Pressley and some friends put about three pounds of Tannerite into an old riding mower with the intent to shoot it and blow it up with the explosive. The story goes, after “getting more than 20 shots” off the lawnmower exploded. Pressley can be heard yelling “I blew my leg off!” and blood spatters appeared on his person. Pressley’s friends applied a tourniquet...

If you like shotgun and you want it on an AR platform. You probably wished you had a Saiga 12 shotgun. With a Saiga12 you can load up a 20 round drum to it. What’s even more impressive is to see what it can do against a concrete wall with a steel door. Youtuber Florida Guy is having fun blasting his Saiga12 against the concrete. Its amazing to see the sheer power of 20 rounds of 12 gauge. Its like playing a video game where you have to get through the concrete wall to reach the next objective. See the...

Its back to work for the new year, but its only Humpday. And, its really dragging, my trigger finger is itching to get back out on the range, must be withdrawals. For this fellow gun hobbyist, he already beat me to the range and has a new trick with his Glock. What he does is put a round on top of the slide (locked back) of the glock. While holding it, he tosses the round up into the air and have it land into the open port. Release the slide forward to rack one into the chamber and fires a...

A 20-year-old Minnesota woman whose quest for internet fame took a tragic turn when she fatally shot her boyfriend during a stunt apparently intended for YouTube has pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter. In June, the woman, Monalisa Perez of Halstad, Minn., shot at a thick book that her boyfriend, Pedro Ruiz III, was holding, apparently believing that the bullet would not make it through the volume. But the bullet went through the book and entered Mr. Ruiz’s chest, fatally wounding the 22-year-old man. Over the next several days, Ms. Perez and the YouTube videos she had previously posted with her...

Many gun enthusiasts likes to show off their weaponry and sometimes they’re doing it without the thought of safety. For example Youtuber FPS Russia, he has some serious videos of action/explosive mayhem shots. Such as shooting at an object with tannerite that explodes on impact. Its very fun to watch but you should check out the debris flying around him. Did you see that debris from the truck? I admit it really is fun to watch and probably fun for FPS to be the one shooting it. Good thing he has 9 lives. However, we don’t recommend you do try...

Anyone that loves to see large sparks from their shotgun, should have a look at this, you may already have the ingredient at home. From a simple idea, TAOFLEDERMAUS Youtuber loaded shells with a small wad of steel wool on top of the powder to create “poor man’s dragon breath” rounds. Dragon’s breath is the sparks that travels almost 40 yards. Not bad for something you probably have in the cupboard under the kitchen sink! What’s crazy about this is that its easy to create this, but we urge you to not to try this at home. See the full...

Not sure if this is going to be a new movement in the Yoga world, but for us pro gun guys and gals. Why not? Its definitely not your everyday yoga thing. I can see how doing yoga with a gun can help with balance and posture awareness, but I don’t buy that gun/yoga will bring me to a deeper spiritual connection. I may as well recite the Marine Corp “this is my gun, this is…” Watching this video is a little creepy with the acid mellow techno music in the background. Keeping it at the gun porn level is...

Saiga-12 shotguns are incredible weapons. When they target these cars, we all get a great show. Watch as these guys use Saiga-12 shotguns for some serious destruction in this action-packed video. I’ll admit there’s not much logic to this video but it sure is fun watching these cars get banged up. YouTuber anderRuskov shared a video of cars being shot up by 12-gauge buckshot loads. The weapons of choice are semi-automatic Saiga-12 shotguns loaded up with 20-round drum magazines. The Saiga-12 shotgun has quite an interesting design. It’s essentially a beefed-up AK-47 rifle chambered with 12-gauge shotgun loads. This smoothbore...
  • World's Fastest Shooter vs Bump Fire Stock

    Am Shooting Journal ^ | 10/12/2017 | D Zimmerman
Ever since the Las Vegas shooting and Senator Diane Feinstein introduced her bill to ban bump fire stocks, claims have been made about the speed at which semi-automatic rifles can be made to fire while using these ATF-approved accessories. Defenders pointed out that in order to simulate full-auto fire, you don’t need a bump fire stock . . You can achieve the same rates of fire with a rubber band. Or a belt loop as seen on Youtube channels. But what many really wanted to see was someone with serious skills to fire an un-aided semi-auto AR to see what...

After the passing of the family matriarch, the Texas Pawn Boys gathered one last time for a day of shooting on the family property. While celebrating they noticed an old dead oak tree that needed to be removed. Someone had the bright and entertaining idea to see what would happen if Tannerite was used as the primary removal mechanism. They quickly grabbed a chainsaw, some duct tape, and everyone’s favorite explosive to make this memorable ridiculous video. See the full cutting down oak tree tannerite video here.

Social media has a way of spreading viral content like a wild fire in a desert. And this video of the exploding muzzleloader on the range is gaining a lot of attention. It is a pretty insane video. The shooter should consider himself very lucky that things didn’t end any worse than it already did. The slow motion clip makes the video all the more frightening and crazy. I’m still not sure what caused it, and we don’t want to speculate on anything without knowing details. All we know is that things like this happen, and when they do, you...

Some people are just asking to hurt themselves when they hold a firearm. We show these videos because nobody got hurt and it’s a hoot watching people be so ignorant of basic firearm safety. It’s also good to remind ourselves of how dangerous firearms can be when they aren't handled properly. Here's a few to look at and you can see the rest of the 17 who never learned gun safety here.

Amateur gunsmiths do well with some customizations, but here are some that has turn a fine weapon into junk in seconds. These garage gunsmiths are just as lost as their predecessors were. Oh, Bubba, no! What did you do to your Mosin Nagant? With all that money, you could have bought a proper tactical rifle. The Saiga 12 Frankengun complete with the infamous frankenmag.
