With the continuous and systematic weakening and brainwashing of the U.S. military by the politicians/federal government/etc. and LOTS LOTS LOTS... of domestic and foreign enemies, and with the fast track "march" to communism in the U.S., etc. and "some other things" I say any day now.

Senator Cruz continues to capitalize on Dr. Ben Carson’s inexperience, gaining ground against Carson in Massachusetts. In October, Massachusetts polling data showed Trump with 48%, Carson with 14%, Rubio with 12%, and Cruz with only 5%. In one month, Trump has dropped to 32%, Rubio up to 18%, Cruz at 10%, and Carson dropping all the way to 5%. Now, this early polling in Massachusetts isn't a good gauge of anything in a vacuum, but considering what we're seeing in other polls, it appears that Senator Cruz is directly siphoning off votes from Carson. Obviously, Ted Cruz and Ben Carson...

Thanks to one of my Facebook friends, I was just today alerted to the interview Romney gave CBS news on 8/27/2012. The video is here. In the interview, Romney says, "My position has been clear throughout this campaign. I'm in favor of abortion being legal in the case of rape and incest and the health and life of the mother." The health of the mother exception is universally recognized by authentic pro-lifers as a loophole you can drive Roe v. Wade through. Then Romney makes the following statement, clearly putting an end to any notion that he is pro-life in...

Oh Really Mr. Reptilian Republican? By Karl Denninger (8/30/2012) Last night was a spooge-fest at the RNC; one of the more-common lies was Ryan's: “Before the math and the momentum overwhelm us all, we are going to solve this nation’s economic problems,” Ryan said. “And I’m going to level with you. We don’t have that much time. But if we are serious, and smart, and we lead, we can do this.” Oh really Paul? Paul Ryan, for those who have been living in a cave for the last couple of years, has put forward two separate "budgets" that are nothing...

While it is clear from the outset that a large percentage of lurkers and posters on FreeRepublic are staunch supporters of Sarah Palin, there are nonetheless a significant if considerably smaller number who avidly support Herman Cain. My curiosity piqued by this fact, I decided to watch Herman in his interview yesterday on “2012 One-on-One” with Chris Wallace, FOX NEWS Sunday. As the show opened, Chris ran a videotape of Herman at a campaign stop where he commandeered the stage with an undeniable presence, arms spread expansively, and said “Once I am president, Americans will be able to say, “Free...

But didn‘t Hillary dump on Obama a few days ago for playing up his Indonesian roots? So, what is she up to here? Is she pushing how great he is for having been born in Indonesia, or what, or simply reminding everybody about his background, his Islamic background? America's experiment with banning alcohol created problems that persist to this day. BY THOMAS FLEMING On Dec. 5, 1933, Americans liberated themselves from a legal nightmare called Prohibition by repealing the 18th Amendment to the Constitution. Today most people think Prohibition was fueled by puritanical Protestants who believed drinking alcohol was a sin. But the vocal minority who made Prohibition law believed they were marching in the footsteps of the abolitionists who sponsored a civil war to end another moral evil—slavery. At least as important was the belief that Prohibition would produce health and wealth. Yale economist Irving Fisher, the...

Those of you. You know who you are. I don't care who you are or what your reasoning is. Your siding with the maistream media against Palin is doing nothing to help Republicans or Conservatism in general. You are hurting your own cause. Unless you are a DU troll. Or a liberal Republican who has no idea what the heck you are even talking about. Ani Palin comments (such as "shes not fit to be President") should be seen as trolling and should not be tolerated on Free Republic, any conservative web site or any conservative setting. While I am...

I have no idea how to categorize this, but it's funny that the party favor craze has gotten to this - The Pond (children's videos) is giving away 20 dvd's to ONE PERSON! Three times, they're doing this as part of their drawing. What a funny idea.

Investors around the world continue to clamor for shares in online gambling companies – shaking off the news of an indictment against the former chief executive officer of BetOnSports.com, and the passage of a bill in the U.S. House of Representatives that would essentially ban Internet gaming in the U.S. According to Gregory Harris, an analyst for Canaccord Adams, a London-based investment bank, investors are viewing the recent actions in the U.S. by the government as nothing more than election year grandstanding.

A Google search reveals for "illegal immigrants per day into the USA" about 7000 people. These people do not walk to their destination so someone is burning gasoline to move illegals. How much fuel? At least one out of 4 of these illegals are going to put an auto of some kind on the road. I doubt it is a 2006 model. So it is a clunker getting 12 to 14 mpg. So how many miles per day would this illegal drive to do what he/she is doing? How many gallons per day does this make? How much of other...

A 17-year-old St. Johns County student was arrested Friday afternoon in connection with a lewd act with three unwilling girls on a school bus, the Sheriff's Office said. St. Johns County Sheriff's Spokesman Kevin Kelshaw said Eyad Adieh was arrested on three counts of lewd and lascivious behavior and three counts of battery. ============================================ Where is this one from? As far back as 2002, Michael Schiavo was claiming that his estranged wife, Terri, told him that she wanted to be cremated – and not have the traditional Catholic burial now requested by her family. "She never wanted to be put in the ground with bugs," Schiavo told the Tampa Tribune at the time. "She always told me that."...

If the loving heart of the Great Emancipator found its natural amorous passions overwhelmingly directed toward those of his own sex, it would certainly be a stunning rebuke to the Republican Party’s scapegoating of same-sex love for electoral purposes. And a forthcoming book by the late Dr. C.A. Tripp — The Intimate World of Abraham Lincoln, to be published in the new year by Free Press — makes a powerful case that Lincoln was a lover of men.Tripp, who worked closely in the 1940s and 1950s with the groundbreaking sexologist Alfred Kinsey, was a clinical psychologist, university professor and author...
