Carnage left by Russian soldiers on the road to Kyiv wasn’t random. It was strategic brutality, perpetrated in areas under tight Russian control where military officers — including one of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s top generals accused of war crimes in Syria — were present. The man in charge of this war was Col. Gen. Alexander Chaiko, earned a global reputation for brutality as leader of Russia’s forces in Syria. This story is part of AP/FRONTLINE investigation that includes War Crimes Watch Ukraine interactive experience and documentary “Putin’s Attack on Ukraine: Documenting War Crimes,” on PBS. Witnesses and survivors in...

A man was shot Monday after gunfire erupted at a demonstration in New Mexico, where protesters attempted to topple a bronze conquistador’s statue outside an Albuquerque museum, authorities said. The man was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in critical but stable condition, police said. “The shooting tonight was a tragic, outrageous and unacceptable act of violence and it has no place in our city,” Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller said in a statement. A group of armed men, who call themselves the New Mexico Civil Guard, were trying to stop the statue being taken down when gunshots...

Since George Floyd’s death three weeks ago, the role of America’s criminal justice system has been catapulted to the forefront of national conversation with thousands calling for sweeping changes within the country’s policing system. Protesters have called on their community leaders to hold officers accountable and defund police departments — in hopes, those funds could be redirected toward other programs. And many local leaders have responded, signing orders changing how departments operate, promising further reform and acting quickly on incidents of police brutality that have surfaced in recent weeks. But as anger bubbles in parts of the country, some US...

Seattle activists just can’t settle on a name for their cop-free protest pace. Once known as the “Capital Hill Autonomous Zone,” or CHAZ, the protesters behind the festival-like takeover of a six-block radius around an emptied-out police precinct in the neighborhood are now pushing a new acronym for the space: “CHOP,” or Capitol Hill Organized Protest. One protester, Maurice Cola, told reporters in a widely circulated Twitter video that the change was to better reflect the organizers’ message. “This is not an autonomous zone. We are not trying to secede from the United States,” Cola said. But protesters there can’t...

Actor Ron Perlman traded barbs with Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida over social media Sunday. The spat began when Perlman condemned Gaetz for tweeting last week that he’d prefer not having a United States national soccer team over having one “that won’t stand for the National Anthem.” While actor Ron Perlman was already trending on Twitter after sparring with congressmen Matt Gaetz and Jim Jordan on Sunday night, Senator Ted Cruz threw his name into the fight. After Perlman tweeted a photo of Jordan with the caption, “You’re lucky for this guy, Matt. If it weren’t for him you’d be...

While appearing on “Watters’ World” Saturday, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani ripped liberal leadership for situations like in Seattle — where protesters have taken over six blocks — and the destruction in many major cities following the death of George Floyd. Giuliani first opened up saying there was an insurrection in Seattle and Miami and they both blamed liberals for the outburst and not the police. Rudy tried to compare ‘autonomous zones’ to the Civil War, calling it a minor version of that major conflict in American history. Watters stated the police needed to stop these protesters in...

A couple of weeks ago cops protected the Atlanta CNN building from being looted and destroyed inside by a mob, and protected the CNN crew that was inside from that mob. CNN portrays cops in a very negative light and CNN won’t even take the time to praise the cops who protected their own staff. Negative, negative, negative, about Trump and cops all the time at CNN. A largely peaceful demonstration erupted first in vandalism, then in violence. Cops used pepper spray, and then some in the crowd were seen smashing windows and defacing the giant CNN sign with spray-paint....

What started as peaceful protests two weeks ago in Seattle, Washington quickly turned into a compilation of looting and rioting in the Emerald City and surrounding suburbs. Gov. Jay Inslee activated the National Guard but the Pentagon has told National Guardsmen deployed to the nation’s capital not to use firearms or ammunition, and has issued orders to send home active-duty troops that the Trump administration amassed outside the city in recent days, a sign of de-escalation in the federal response to protests in the city. Some residents in the Seattle suburb of Bellevue weren’t waiting for authorities to protect them....

A black professor tweeted that he wants white people to die and supports “fighting white people,” concerned individuals notified his university. However, instead of firing or even punishing him, the campus administration insists that he did nothing wrong. For Irami Osei-Frimpong, every discrepancy within minority communities can be reduced to racial inequality, namely the oppression of white people. Additionally, he has been afforded a gratifying platform to spew this racial propaganda and spread the idea of victim superiority at the University of Georgia, convincing young people that a certain race of people is inherently racist and, therefore, evil. Fighting White...

Howard Stern claimed that President Trump actually “despises” his biggest supporters and the radio talk show host said he “hates” the people who voted for the commander-in-chief.

Attention skateboarding Antifa thugs: don’t mess with the Miami Police Department. Video shows a bunch of punks attacking the police with skateboarders. It did not end well for the “peaceful protesters.” A viral video in Miami, Florida shows Antifa protesters attacking a police car with the officers still inside, while another person at the scene shouts, “f*ck you”! It shows an unmarked police squad rolling slowly through the streets, which are filled with people. There are a number of other police cars in the area with sirens and lights blaring. People jump on the officers’ car, before they hit it...

President Donald Trump told Fox News host Harris Faulkner in an interview that aired on Thursday that if Washington State officials do not fix the situation involving an occupied region in Seattle that the federal government will intervene to solve the problem. President Trump supports peaceful protests but the riots need to stop. On the other hand, the Dems have totally different agenda. Joe Biden told a crowd of supporters that George Floyd’s death was bigger than the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. And in numerous times he even supported these so-called protests which become violent in almost every...

Antifa and every other radical group that promotes violence are terrible and they should pay for their crimes. But they use kids as tools that are being used and disposed of – which is sad. Most of them are just disenfranchised, angry kids. One video yesterday that surfaced today shows that the racial tensions seem to be increased after the huge outrage that was promoted mainly by the mainstream media who failed to condemn the violence and the looting during the riots. Recent violence in Ocean City, Maryland, is raising concerns from local officials who are just starting off the...

Antifa is a violent left-wing Communist faction that uses a black bloc tactic where they dress in black from head to toe and cover their faces with black masks. The tactic is meant to make it more difficult for police to identify those who break the law during a riot. Someone is organizing criminals and vandals to loot and destroy cities but the corporate media don’t seem all that interested in getting to the bottom of it. In fact, Democrats and their allies in the press have been actively engaging in misdirection, lamely accusing white supremacists of being behind the...

A protester has been left critically injured after a Confederate statue that was being torn down during a demonstration Portsmouth, Virginia came crashing down on his head Wednesday night. The man, believed to be in his thirties, had been part of a group of protesters attempting to topple the statue yesterday evening, WAVY News reported. According to one witness, the group had attached ropes around the base of the statue and had been pulling away at it for ‘some time’, when the monument eventually gave way and fell forwards. The man, who has not yet been identified, had been standing...

Video of police officers in plainclothes and military-style uniforms arresting a female protester Thursday — and taking her away in an unmarked van as bystanders scream for the officers to identify themselves — spread on social media this week, raising eyebrows and concerns. In the 45-second clip posted on Twitter, just after the woman is forced into the van, one of the officers dressed in tactical gear and carrying what looks like a rifle yells at the woman’s companions that if “you follow us, you will get shot, you understand me?” According to the police, the girl tried to hit...

The mass protests that have swept the nation in recent days to express outrage at the death of George Floyd have been paired with a flood of financial donations, as hundreds of thousands of Americans have opened their wallets to give to charitable groups, community bail funds, and Democratic candidates. With money flowing to candidates, bail funds, and charities, the Democrats’ online donor platform processed over $60 million between Friday and Monday, a sign of strength for the party. ActBlue, the central online hub that processes money for Democratic candidates and causes, Sunday was the single largest day of giving...

The working- and middle-class people of New York have had to remain in place to face the COVID virus. They have no second homes to retreat to. Now they are faced with the virus of organized criminal gangs and looters. Some actually defended the looting, rationalizing it as payback for the injustices blacks have had to endure and forgetting the peaceful message of Martin Luther King Jr. Looting will never foster social justice or redress past grievances. Looting only serves to selfishly benefit the looter and promote reactionary politics. Outsiders and seasoned thieves are using the protests over the death...

10 days ago a man from Illinois who took part in protests in both Chicago and Minneapolis was caught handing out explosives and encouraged others to “light that b***h and throw it” at police officers. He is facing federal criminal charges, but the mainstream media said that there are no bombs on the peaceful protests and that this man was not guilty Matthew Rupert, 28, was charged with civil disorder, carrying on a riot and possession of unregistered destructive devices, according to a federal complaint filed Monday in the U.S. District Court in Minnesota. And it seems that his bombs...

Anti-fascist leftist movement, Antifa, has dominated US politics during the weekslong protests over the death of unarmed black man, George Floyd, in police custody. US President Trump is holding the group accountable for the ongoing violence. It’s fair to say that the protest often becomes violent because Antifa members are out there to destroy and the police brutality protests are not their main goal. As protesters clash in occasionally violent street confrontations that spread via online video, provoking emotional conversations that could touch almost anyone on Facebook or Twitter, millions of Americans feel pressure to pick a side, to support...
