TUCSON- A convenience store clerk who was stabbed early Friday morning has died from his injuries. According to Sergeant Chris Widmer with Tucson Police, 22-year-old Erick Bridges passed away Saturday afternoon. Bridges was stabbed at the AM/PM at 7601 E. Tanque Verde around 1 a.m. Friday. The suspect is described as a thin white and Hispanic man in his 20s, 5-feet-8 inches. He was wearing a grey "hoodie" and jeans and had a dark backpack. Anyone with information is urged 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.

Evyatar Borovsky, 31, was laid to rest Tuesday evening. He was murdered by a Palestinian Authority resident terrorist, who stabbed him to death while he waited for a ride at the Tapuach Junction. Several hundred people attended the funeral. His widow, Tzofia, was at the funeral with the couple’s five children. Police say a man stabbed four people at a Catholic church in Albuquerque as a Sunday mass was nearing its end. Police says a man in his 20s jumped over several pews at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church around noon Sunday and walked up to the choir area where he began his attack. An off-duty police officer and others at the church subdued the attacker and held him down until police arrived. Some of those who were stabbed were members of the choir.

A young mother pushing her baby boy in a stroller was repeatedly stabbed in Dorchester this afternoon, police and witnesses said. Boston Police said a woman was stabbed on Midland Street around 4 p.m. The mother, who appeared to be in her early 20s, then ran around the corner, still pushing her stroller, before she collapsed in front of an ice cream shop on Savin Hill Avenue, said Savin Scoops owner Joe Conway. “She was stabbed pretty badly,” said Conway. “There was blood all over the stroller.”

The Santa Monica Police on Thursday named a suspect in the August stabbing of a 19-year-old near Hooters restaurant in downtown Santa Monica. DNA evidence recovered from the scene allegedly tied a 39-year-old illegal immigrant to the attack, which was unprovoked, according to the police. The victim survived. ATLANTA -- A man was injured in a fight outside the Georgia Dome and taken to nearby Grady Hospital following Atlanta's loss to San Francisco in the NFC title game. According to a report by Channel 2 Action News in Atlanta, a 49ers fan stabbed a Falcons fan in the neck with a knife. Georgia Dome spokesman Jason Kirksey emailed a statement to The Associated Press Sunday saying an altercation occurred in a parking lot outside the dome at 6:40 p.m.

A Fort Lauderdale man stabbed an apartment visitor in the back and forced the bleeding victim to strip and get into a bathtub, police said. Lorenzo Jones, 26, is charged with attempted felony murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment and aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony. A Cape Breton teenager found guilty of second-degree murder for stabbing his girlfriend more than 100 times has been sentenced as an adult to life in prison. Melvin Skeete Jr., who was 16 years old at the time of the incident, was sentenced Monday in Nova Scotia Youth Court to life in prison with no chance of parole until Dec. 3, 2017.

GARDENDALE, Ala. – Police say an Alabama pastor shot and killed his wife and wounded their 18-year-old daughter before stabbing himself in their home. Authorities say the Rev. Terry Greer is being charged with murder in the killing of 52-year-old Lisa Greer and attempted murder in the wounding of Suzanna Greer, a University of South Alabama student. Greer remains hospitalized with what police say are self-inflicted knife wounds. His wife died early Friday after being shot on Thursday. Police say the daughter took the gun from her father and escaped.

Waianae, Hawaii - Emergency Medical Services officials say a 19-year-old man was hospitalized in serious condition after a stabbing at Waianae High School Friday. Honolulu police responded just before 12:30 p.m. The Department of Education says two students, both 19-year-old men, got into an altercation during class time right before lunch. They were outside near the basketball court. The suspect stabbed the victim with a pocketknife, according to the DOE. The victim suffered lacerations and taken to Queen's Medical Center.

An Oak Brook doctor who was stabbed in the neck and face during an attempted holdup at a Gold Coast restaurant in November is suing his alleged attacker along with the restaurant and hotel that houses it. Mir Shah says he was violently attacked and stabbed several times by Jimmy Harris in the bathroom of the Westin’s The Grill on the Alley on Nov. 17, according to a lawsuit filed Monday in Cook County Circuit Court. The restaurant’s bartender was also injured when he chased Harris, who cut him with a knife, police said.
