DETROIT - An animal cruelty officer, we're told, was shot Thursday by a Detroit Police officer, who was aiming at a loose pit bull. This all started at a house on Fairport that is suspected of being a chop shop. OAK CREEK - A gunman killed his girlfriend and another man and wounded two others in a hotel early Friday, at one point spraying the hallways with bullets in this Milwaukee suburb, police said.
