    Fellow Freepers, I'm beyond happy that the AW ban has died the miserable death it deserved. But I am not satisfied. We need to take the offensive and begin deconstructing our national gun control laws. I propose what I think would be a simple yet devestating move on this front. The most repugnant part of the 1968 GCA is the sporting purpose clause which gives the ATF quite a bit of power. I think we have a good chance of getting those two words struck from that law.
