  • Amazon’s same-day shipping for Prime customers seen as ‘racist’

Forget peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Now, we’re supposed to believe there may be a racial component to Amazon’s new same-day shipping service for Prime members in certain areas of the country. The Christian Science Monitor reported: For many black consumers and especially those who have experienced discrimination in retail shops, Amazon presents a good option for shopping without being followed around or singled out. Here’s the kicker: But a Bloomberg analysis of the same-day shipping services reveals a racial bias: Amazon’s same-day shipping service often excludes predominantly black neighborhoods in six major cities. Say what? Some companies have made...
  • CNN's Cuomo Blandly Tags Violent Protesters as 'Dissatisfied Citizens'

On Friday's New Day on CNN, during a discussion of violent protests outside a Donald Trump rally in Costa Mesa, California, after conservative CNN political commentator Matt Lewis suggested that they might be "leftist agitators" who are effectively boosting Trump's campaign with their behavior, co-host Chris Cuomo defused his characterization by asserting that many of them "were just dissatisfied citizens who were taking out their disatisfaction the wrong way in anger and destroying a lot of property there."
  • koran capitalized but not Bible, THE PROMPT

It took awhile to notice. Yes, I've been posting to articles for a long time. Yet, today I noticed a mild type of propaganda as I posted a reply to an article. Each time that I typed koran my computer prompted me to capitalize it. However when I typed Bible, un-capitalized, there was no such prompt. Why? Then I typed islam and Christian as a test and there it was again, 'the prompt'. A prompt was given to capitalize islam but no such prompt for Christian. This.......must stop. A demand to hold the so-called religion of islam above the true religion...
  • Taking Sides: The Christian's Responsibility in Civic Affairs (Part 2)

This is the second in a series of essays on the duty of Christians in civic affairs, adapted from Kevin Kookogey’s weekly radio address and podcasts at advancingchurch.com. This week we begin our examination of questions from listeners. 1. Christians should be informed about politics, but should they really determine which political side is correct? How can one claim that it is important for Christians to be informed about politics if the conclusion one draws from the information is deemed irrelevant or off limits? It is, after all, conclusions that lead one to act and to act is to take...
  • Dump Trump (GOP Gala Protests: Part II)

The right is blessed in its opponents, who have never truly appreciated how deeply unappealing their platform is, at least to non-millennials, i.e. individuals who aren’t complete ignoramuses. A perfect illustration of this political tone deafness can be found in the mass demonstrations held in front of the Grand Hyatt Hotel during the pre-primary GOP Gala. Our good friend Pamela Hall has a fantastic photo essay which chronicles the concerns expressed by the assorted dregs of humanity...

Sheriff David Clarke may soon win the moniker of “America’s Sheriff” away from Sheriff Joe Arpaio if he continues spinning these gems. Sheriff Clarke recently appeared on Fox News’ Hannity Show to discuss some comments made by Democrat presidential frontrunner and possible soon-to-be felon, Hillary Clinton. Earlier this week during a campaign stop in Connecticut, Clinton was attempting to connect with a voter who discussed his violence-filled past when she said some pretty ridiculous things. u said something that is so important for people to hear. You know, joining a gang is like having a family. It’s feeling like you’re...

The new normal: The economy is not good. The economy has not been good for the entire Obama presidency Businesses aren’t spending money. Neither are consumers. And while the unemployment rate is made to look good, record low labor-force participation tells a different story. The economy is not good. The economy has not been good for the entire Obama presidency. And while Democrats hope we’re getting used to horrendous news like this, we shouldn’t be: The U.S. economy grew at its slowest pace in roughly 2 years, climbing just 0.5 percent in the first three months of 2016.

Burns Chronicles #20 In light of the many complaints filed against the Arnold Law Firm, attorneys for Ammon Bundy, over their method of raising funds to pay for a legal defense against a government back by hundreds of attorneys and millions of dollars, perhaps there is another side to this story that needs to be looked at. Shawna Cox had the wherewithal to begin recording the events, from the first stop to the murder of LaVoy Finicum. In so doing, she recorded a moment of history that cannot be duplicated.
  • GOPe and Cruz threats to our dreams of freedom generate fear which can be a great motivator

Fear is a great motivator. Fear will make us do things we never thought we were capable of and drive us to success in sometimes impossible situations. Fear is a very effective agent for overcoming complacency. Fear has driven Donald Trump’s supporters to the polls in numbers not seen before. And fear will generate a tsunami of votes that will crush Hillary Clinton next November. We are afraid of many things but mostly another four years of gangsters running our lives from Washington. We fear that Hillary Clinton would govern just like Barack Obama and maybe worse in some cases....

50-shades-of-bray Clinton used the wrong mimic when she barked like a dog at an event last month. Some of us can already hear her braying her way to certain victory The donkeys are braying. That’s what donkeys do when they sniff excitement in the air. They bray loudest while waiting for the mainstream media to bring on their feed. It was the Democrat donkeys that imposed a 50-50 polarization on America back in 2008 when they, taking savvy advantage of social media’s celebrity cult of the day, introduced Barack Hussein Obama from a surrealistic Greek column facade. Roughly 50% of...

Image courtesy accesswdun.com by Rob Moore On April 5th, the City Council of Demorest, Georgia voted to restore the right to bear arms to city employees.  From accesswdun.com: DEMOREST — Demorest officials say they have passed a groundbreaking personnel policy amendment believed to be the first of its kind in Georgia. Tuesday night, the city council voted unanimously to amend the city's personnel policy to allow city employees with a valid concealed carry permit to carry their weapons during the workday. The policy may be the first for a city in Georgia, but it is a growing trend in...

If nobody is working in one out of every five U.S. families, then how in the world can the unemployment rate be close to 5 percent as the Obama administration keeps insisting? The truth, of course, is that the U.S. economy is in far worse condition than we are being told. Last week, I discussed the fact that the Federal Reserve has found that 47 percent of all Americans would not be able to come up with $400 for an unexpected visit to the emergency room without borrowing it or selling something. But Barack Obama and his minions never bring...

For the past seven years and counting the Obama administration has been engaged in a silent war on the rights of the American people at the hands of an organized network of fringe leftist lawyers working within the Civil Rights Divisions of the Department of Justice (DOJ) as well as the Department of Education (DOE). These lawyers have been unleashed under the administration to push an ideological agenda that is far outside of the American mainstream all under the banner of protecting civil rights. As noted by J. Christian Adams and Hans A. von Spakovsky of PJ Media, if a...

If they truly believe beating Hillary Clinton is the real goal for Republicans, Ted Cruz and John Kasich have to suspend their campaigns and go home. The voters have spoken and rejected them. For months many honest-and some not so honest-people backed the candidacy of Texas Senator Ted Cruz in the Republican primaries. They stood by Cruz as the façade of his “impeccable” conservative credentials crumbled when even mildly questioned. They were with him when he acted in a very un-conservative manner in Iowa. They defended him as he built his campaign war chest with shady arrangements with Citi Bank....

If you are so convinced that Donald Trump will lose to Hillary Clinton in November and in doing so, pull down the whole Republican Party, here are a few questions to consider. “If he were to gain the nomination, which single state (I’ll make it easy) would Ted Cruz win that Mitt Romney did not win?” “Do you think that Donald Trump would roll over for Hillary Clinton without hitting her over and over again on the numerous crimes she has committed and vulnerabilities she has?” “You know, like McCain and Romney did for Obama.” “Do you imagine this would...

Speaker Ryan has made it crystal clear that House Republicans' number one priority is to shield American taxpayers from a bailout of Puerto Rico My problem lies in reconciling my gross habits with my net income.—Errol Flynn Due to Puerto Rico’s gross habits, the commonwealth has amassed a total debt of over $72 billion and has already defaulted on $221 million of its’ debt. When unfunded liabilities (pensions) are included, these additional costs bring the total value of their debt closer to $165 billion, approximately $150% of its’ GDP.

Hillsborough is not over! In the longest running inquest in British legal history and possibly the biggest policing cover up ever, a Coroner’s Jury found retired Police Superintendent David Duckenfield and other senior commanders responsible for the unlawful killing of 96 soccer fans. The unlawful killing finding was the key component of the 14 counts and now invites criminal manslaughter charges to be filed. That decision will be taken by Assistant Police Commissioner John Stoddart, appointed directly by Home Secretary Theresa May in 2012 to run Operation Resolve. It is the official investigation that would then refer evidence to the...

The NEW WORLD ORDER is nothing more than the old world order reborn No, this is not an article suggesting that we storm the castle of government, armed with torches and pitchforks, demanding redress, although many would say it is about time. That mob shown in the photo represents the 60% of Democrats demanding or embracing communism (Politico). Spare me the usual substitute cliché like socialist, progressive, liberal or the left. It is merely lipstick on a pig. A communist takeover of our nation has been underway for many decades. Our education system, while we were sleeping, has been busy...

A very classy, luxurious five-state landslide I suppose a #NeverTrumper can comfort himself with the notion that no one expected the five mid-Atlantic states that voted last night to be kind to the Cruz/Kasich alliance. But did anyone expect this? Trump easily defeated rivals John Kasich and Ted Cruz in all five states that held contests, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Delaware, with a margin of victory rivaling that of his home state of New York a week ago. He was on a path to winning the vote in every single county in each state.

Praying, Monsieurs Buchanan and Prager, is always better for the Christian soul than preaching People who posit that “God is dead” in online ramblings never stop trying to crawl under the skin of everyday Christians. They bewail the times, the climes and the culture. They seem to want us to believe that the only way up is down.
