  • National Defense Authorization bill of 2013 still a threat to liberty

“This measure has a chilling impact on First Amendment Rights,” states Federal District Judge Katherine Forrest according to a flyer being distributed by the New Citizens’ Initiative to repeal the National Defense Authorization Act(NDAA). (1) People Against the NDAA (PandaUNITE.org) is gearing up for a nationwide fight in 2013 to nullify this very controversial act that uses national security as window dressing to take away six freedoms guaranteed to all citizens in our Constitution’s Bill of Rights! PANDA warns that the following six Bill of Rights amendments are...
  • Obama is no friend of Israel; he never has been and never will be

The reelection of Barack Obama will prove to be a painful reminder of having been lied to and fooled for many of his supporters. The young voters who sold their futures to vote for whatever they imagined Obama to be will learn hard lessons. The conservatives who stayed home to make some kind of statement of their discontent will be taught hard lessons about the consequences of elections. Those who consider themselves supporters of Israel, who willingly put aside their judgment of obvious facts, are learning how foolish they were. They voted for a man they should have recognized as...
  • Drug Cartels Well-Entrenched In New Mexico

Barack Obama is a clueless President. The commander in chief who is supposed to defend the nation insists that there is no evidence of drug cartel spillover violence from Mexico into America, and yet police in New Mexico are finding an increasing number of slain bodies which they attribute to the narco traffickers as reported by Adam Camp for KOB: "the recent bloodshed has some people in Albuquerque concerned for their own safety." Of course, now that the Democrats want to ban so-called assault rifles, good citizens along the southwest border will have no protection against the drug cartels.

In a brilliant act of political satire, someone has created a petition to the white house here to create a gun free zone around the President and Vice President. All guns would be eliminated there, and the Secret Service would not have any. If it is good enough for our children, It is good enough for the president, the logic goes. I am constantly amazed that people are perfectly comfortable around someone with a gun, if the person is wearing a uniform. Remove the uniform, and the same people become very uncomfortable. It took some 22 hours for American help to arrive in Benghazi after all the t's had been crossed and the i's had been dotted, and the body of America's ambassador to Libya had been dragged through the streets by "rescuers" stopping along the way to pose for cell phone pictures with his corpse. By way of comparison it takes about 16 hours for a boatload of Libyan illegal immigrants to row to the Italian island of Lampedusa. Support for the Americans under fire in Libya would have arrived sooner if a few former members of the Harvard Rowing Team...

"Moonbats enjoy barking self-righteously about sustainability. Yet they seem to consider this sustainable: In 11 different U.S. states, the number of government dependents exceeds the number of private sector workers..... ... In California, there are 139 “takers” for every 100 private sector workers. … If you can believe it, entitlements accounted for 62 percent of all federal spending in fiscal year 2012...... Entitlement spending is worse than waste. A dollar spent on green energy is more or less the same as a dollar used as fireplace kindling. But a dollar spent on welfare makes America $1 weaker by strengthening government...

The club and the knife were most likely the first weapons developed in human history. Their primary purpose was to kill animals to provide food. By attaching a knife to a pole, as in either a spear or an arrow, the effectiveness of the knife can be extended. Then, some humans learned that they could use these weapons to take property from other humans. The most valuable and sacred property is life itself and once that has been taken, all other forms of property become available to the attacker. If one human with ill intent is armed and another is...

It took Edmund Burke a very little time to decide that French Revolutionary philosophy posed a massive threat to civilization and social stability throughout Europe. By the end of his life, eight years after the storming of the Bastille, his fears of Jacobin contagion had led him to ask for a secret grave, removed from his family sepulchre and hidden from those-the English Jacobins-who would plunder the lead from tombs for bullets to assassinate the living. In 1796 he wrote: “...out of the tomb of the murdered monarchy in France has arisen a vast, tremendous, unformed spectre, in a far...

CASHING IN ON THE DEAD The left's plan has always been very simple. Find a grievance or create a crisis, in whatever order, and then cash in on it. Whether it's the economy or the murder of children, the left's response to any tragedy is to find a way to shamelessly try and cash in. Recently a woman was charged with falsely raising money by claiming to be setting up a fund for some of the dead children of Newtown. This is the sort of thing that's illegal if you're an ordinary person, but perfectly acceptable if you happen...

Jacques Belleaud at MyFoxDC reports: The Mexican government has urged a U.S. court to stop Arizona from enforcing a minor section of the state’s 2010 immigration law that prohibits the harboring of illegal immigrants. Lawyers representing Mexico asked the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in a filing Wednesday to uphold a lower-court ruling that blocked police from enforcing the ban. Mexico argued the ban harms diplomatic relations between the United States, undermines the U.S.’s ability to speak to a foreign country with one voice and encourages the marginalization of Mexicans and people who appear to be from Latin America. “Mexico...

The change has been mainly for the worse. Why have we let the "progressives" get away with it and what can we do about it?An article by Jim Gourdie at Conservatives on Fire suggests that The United States are committing suicide, are being murdered or are stupid. Well, the United States of America isn’t dead yet, but she seems to be getting weaker by the day. If she does die, it will not be due to natural causes. Nations don’t die from natural causes. They either commit suicide or they are murdered. America is gravely injured. Are they self-inflicted wounds...

This year those of us who cherish the phrase “Merry Christmas” have started to say “Merry Christ-mas” to reinsert the name Christ into the greeting. Here’s a reminder of how we started to lose “Merry Christmas” 40 years ago. On the day before Christmas in 1971 the New York Times ran an article about a new “holiday” called Kwanzaa that was invented by an America hating Black separatist named Ron Everett. Everett now uses the made up “African” name Maulana Ron Karenga to show the world he wants nothing to do with White America. That Mr. Karenga was in a...

...Revolution? Yes, it all sounds rather “extreme”, but the cold hard reality of our era is not going to comfort us with diplomacies and niceties, so honestly, why should I have to sugar coat anything? We live in extreme times and there is no longer room for prancing around the ultimate consequences of that which is taking place in America today. This country is increasingly sliding towards the edge of internal conflict. The Liberty Movement and true Constitutionalists see it, subsections of Republicans and Democrats see it, and most of all, the federal government sees it. In fact, they may...

Although many on the left have a vested interest in denying it exists at all costs, the ineluctable truth of the matter is that voter fraud is a widespread phenomenon. Whether it is so rampant that it influences the outcome of major elections, as some maintain, or has unseated incumbent congressmen in past races, is open to debate. However, the recorded episodes of fraudulent voting and the manipulation of the election process, from corrupt Democratic officials in Indiana, to vote harvesters in Texas, to political apparatchiks in Ohio, to the Republican secretary of state of Indiana, demonstrate that the number...

Spain has begun deportation proceedings against Imran Firasat, a Christian refugee from Pakistan, for making a documentary about Mohammed and thereby threatening the national security of Spain. If Firasat is deported back to Pakistan, he will face the death penalty proving that it's a short step from the Spanish Inquisition to the Pakistani Inquisition. The United States has a man sitting in prison for making another blasphemous movie, which the government spent weeks blaming for worldwide attacks on American embassies. And he isn't the first man persecuted or prosecuted for offending Islam. Offending Islam has become a national security issue...
