Welcome to Rabbit Hole Wednesday. This week we explore how neo-Nazis came to be known to the Deep State Media (DSM) as ‘alt-right’. Any mediocre student of history would recognize this 1984, rabbit hole-ish misnomer for the fallacy it is. The movement that called itself the national socialist party has been previously debunked as a right wing phenomenon. But since that’s not enough for the DSM let’s hear from Hitler himself: “We are socialists, we are enemies of today’s capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human...

Even lefty Seymour Hersh agrees that the Russian fable begin in the mind of Obama’s CIA director. One wouldn’t expect Seymour Hersh, a lefty journalist par excellance, to pop the Trump-Russia propaganda balloon Obama’s CIA director John Brennan released last year. But he has. Hersh has been quoted as saying that the collusion claim is a product of “disinformation” — “a Brennan operation,” as he puts it. Hersh says that Trump is not the villain but the victim in this story, and that the press has served as a shameful stenographer for Brennan to smear Trump. It has shown no...

Gary Brose, the 65-year-old Republican candidate for Seattle mayor laughs at the recent Fox News host assertion that Seattle is a socialist hellhole. “They’re trying for ratings there, I think.” But the small businessman who runs four courier services knows what he’s up against. Seattle hasn’t had a Republican mayor in 47 years. There’s a Socialist Alternative Party member on the City Council, but no Republicans. “I've always wanted to do something virtually impossible,” he says. “This is pretty close.” Seattle elections are officially non-partisan, but Gary Brose openly identifies himself a moderate Republican. He says it wasn't until three...

Donald Trump was promising to destroy a vile criminal cartel. Unfortunately, not his own. But one could be forgiven for mistaking the vicious tactics of the MS-13 gang, as described by the president in a Long Island speech on Friday, with those of the Trump White House. “They don’t like shooting people because it’s too quick, it’s too fast,” Trump said, adding: “They like to knife them and cut them, and let them die slowly because that way, it’s more painful, and they enjoy watching that much more. These are animals.” The president could have been describing his own sadistic...

Dr. Danusha V. Goska was a lifelong liberal who “could not conceive of ever being anything but a leftist.” Her fantastic column, “Top Ten Reasons I Am No Longer a Leftist,” details how and why her philosophies changed. How far left was I? So far left my beloved uncle was a card-carrying member of the Communist Party in a Communist country. When I returned to his Slovak village to buy him a mass card, the priest refused to sell me one. So far left that a self-identified terrorist proposed marriage to me. So far left I was a two-time Peace...

<p>Actress Rosie O'Donnell certainly knows how to push conservatives' buttons. And now she is drawing their ire by pushing her own button: one that makes President Trump jump off a cliff.</p>
<p>"Push Trump Off A Cliff Again," O'Donnell tweeted Saturday in an apparent play on Trump's "Make America Great Again" slogan. The tweet links to a game in which the player can, as O'Donnell says, make the president jump off a cliff, again and again.</p>

California and 17 other states on Thursday sued Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, alleging she unlawfully delayed new federal regulations designed to protect student loan borrowers from being ripped off by for-profit colleges and other schools. The rules, which would have made it easier for students to have loans forgiven if they were defrauded or deceived, were developed by the Obama administration and had been set to take effect last Saturday. But last month DeVos delayed their implementation and launched an effort to rewrite them, arguing they were unfair to students and schools while putting taxpayers at risk for “significant costs.”...

Sen. Elizabeth Warren said Tuesday that opposing the Republican health-care bill wasn't enough and the Democratic Party should start running on a new national single-payer plan. "President Obama tried to move us forward with health-care coverage by using a conservative model that came from one of the conservative think tanks that had been advanced by a Republican governor in Massachusetts," she told The Wall Street Journal. "Now it's time for the next step. And the next step is single payer." Polling has shown government-provided health care to be a very popular notion among Americans. Depending on whether it's described as...

In the days since Democrats narrowly lost the fourth special election of 2017, House majority leader, Nancy Pelosi has become the primary target of frustrated Democrats. “It’s time for a new generation of leadership in the party,” according to Democratic Representative Seth Moulton of Massachusetts. Representative Kathleen Rice of New York echoed these sentiments in calling for Pelosi and the entire Democratic leadership team to be replaced. “We need a vision . . . and we need a message . . . We just don’t have either one of those in the present leadership.” Others have complained that there’s “a...

Trump did not obstruct a valid FBI investigation; he demanded the exposure of a false one. The “collusion” narrative was a fraud, plain and simple. We know that now. Hopefully, it won’t take another six months to grasp a second plain and simple truth: Collusion’s successor, the “obstruction” narrative, is a perversion. The Left loves narrative. The ever-expanding story manipulates time, space, and detail to fit a thematic framework. Political narrative has some surface appeal, but it is deeply flawed. It obscures plain and simple truth. So let’s stick with the plain and simple: The essence of obstruction is to...

President Barack Obama says the Senate's GOP-written health care bill will cause millions of families to lose health care coverage. Obama called Senate Republicans' health care bill a "massive transfer of wealth from middle-class and poor families to the richest people in America." He also says it "hands enormous tax cuts to the rich and to the drug and insurance industries, paid for by cutting health care for everybody else." The former president says amending the GOP-written bill "cannot change the fundamental meanness at the core of this legislation." "Simply put, if there's a chance you might get sick, get...

**SNIP** Sanders was responding to a question about what average citizens can do to stop and fight the proposed Republican health care bill. "We've got to stand up and fight back," Sanders said. "We've got to be involved in the political process in a way that we've never been before." Sanders went on to criticize Republicans for their health care bill and the secrecy surrounding the drafting of it. "So you have got to, Mary, act in an unprecedented way, think big, get involved in every way that you can," Sanders said. "So, Mary, stand up and fight back in...

Tom Morello constructed a band dedicated to bashing capitalism, among other supposed “injustices.” But beware, Morello fans: this guitarist is, unsurprisingly, worth millions. Tom Morello, lead guitarist of Prophets of Rage and Rage Against the Machine, takes to Twitter constantly – though not necessarily to discuss his music (given the band’s taste for screaming and ear-ringing metallica, maybe this isn’t such a bad thing). In light of his loud adherence to the Resistance, Morello has an unquenchable penchant for the political.

Hodgkinson’s page shows he has 403 Facebook friends, many of whom have “Resist” or show support to Bernie Sanders. Hodgkinson’s comment to another link to Change.org to remove the president and vice president, on March 22, said, “Trump is a Traitor. Trump Has Destroyed Our Democracy. It’s Time to Destroy Trump & Co.” No further public comment by Hodgkinson defined what he intended by “destroy.” ... His most recent public post, on May 24, was sharing a link to a Change.org petition to stop the NEXUS Pipeline. Hundreds of people from across the country and around the world quickly added...

Pope Francis \ Activities Pope Francis' prayer intention for June: Eliminate arms trade Pope Francis has released his June prayer intention video - ANSA 02/06/2017 14:37 SHARE: (Vatican Radio) Pope Francis has released his video message accompanying his monthly prayer intention for June. This month’s intention is for the elimination of the arms trade. The text of the video message reads: "It is an absurd contradiction to speak of peace, to negotiate peace, and at the same time, promote or permit the arms trade. Is this war or that war really a war to solve problems or is it...

California's attorney general told state lawmakers on Thursday that he needs more money if he is going to continue fighting President Donald Trump's proposals. Attorney General Xavier Becerra's current budget was passed before Trump became president last year. He said he's had to juggle his budget to combat the Republican administration's proposals on immigration, the environment, women's rights and other issues. "Protecting and defending California families in this new environment takes a lot more effort," he told members of a Senate budget subcommittee. "I had to pull resources from wherever possible to respond to the federal administration's actions."

Recent figures show that in the UK, more than 50% of households receive more in State benefits than the pay in direct taxes (income tax, VAT etc…) to the Government. The Centre for Policy Studies says that “the average household paid £13,402 in taxes in 2013/14. Yet it received £12,939 in cash benefits and benefits in-kind” When this is added to education and health benefits shows that the majority of British people are a drain on the public purse. advertisement This is not to say that it is the public’s fault. The system in place means that people are given...

Temperature 82 degrees with occasional clouds, and lagoon waters, clear as paradise… former President Barack Obama is wrapping up his month-long vacation in French Polynesia – with Michelle by his side. On Sunday, Tahiti television station TNTV revealed photos of Michelle Obama paddleboarding while the Barack swam in a Polynesian lagoon. The pictures were taken on the island of Moorea by fellow vacationers, who spotted the laid-back couple using a small boat for a late morning excursion. They were escorted by two other boats with their security detail, the station says. The former president has been staying out of the...

A volley of U.S. cruise missiles had barely been launched into Syria before the Internet filled up with fact-free theories about the real reason for an international crisis. A popular one on the right-most fringes: The U.S. government actually carried out the chemical weapons massacre in Syria last week — a “false flag” to trick President Trump into retaliating, thus entangling himself in a foreign war. A slightly more convoluted strain on the left: Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the chemical weapons massacre to help Trump — distracting Americans from an investigation into Trump's campaign ties to Russia by provoking...
