A North Charleston homeowner is facing charges after officials say he was operating an illegal homeless shelter at the property. The Post and Courier of Charleston reports North Charleston officials say 51-year-old Cyrus Kamini was charged Monday with operating a business without a license, operating an unsafe dwelling and not having permits for work done on the site.
