There shall be a "worldwide" Earth (( Quake )) not from plate shifting but from outer space yet in this time and dimension for I AM shaking ALL that can be shaken and this does not include My kingdom or the heavenly for I AM The Rock and Cornerstone of Hope. Therefore all that put their faith on me shall stand and not fall for I AM. There will be utter darkness and then a light but this first light shall fade for it is a false light of hope but then I shall move and My light shall be...

It's a small sign with a big message, but Bartow residents are now being ordered to uproot their "God Bless America" yard signs. About 300 of the signs were handed out at First Baptist Church of Bartow following a Fourth of July sermon. But three months later, City of Bartow Code Enforcement says the temporary signs have worn out their welcome. Residents have three days to pack it up or pay a minimum fine of $25 a day. "Being a veteran, I felt like I was just kicked in the gut. I couldn't believe it, that I couldn't display my...

Seattle Mayor Invites Businesses to Post 'Gun-Free Zone' Signs in Their Stores August 19, 2013 - 3:18 PM By Penny Starr (CNSNews.com) – Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn, a Democrat, is inviting local merchants to voluntarily post “Gun Free Zone” signs in their businesses, letting customers who have guns know they should shop elsewhere. “We are here to support businesses that do not wish to have guns on their premises” McGinn said in a press release issued by Washington CeaseFire, which is partnering with the mayor for the campaign. “The police department regularly enforces trespass laws when a visitor to a...

As Comet C/2012 S1 (ISON) heads closer to Earth, we’re getting a better view of what has been billed by some as the “Comet of the Century.” Astronomers say these new photos from the Gemini North telescope on Mauna Kea, Hawai‘i provide hints of how well this comet might survive one of the closest comet encounters with the Sun ever recorded, on November 28, 2013. With astronomy enthusiasts hopeful and optimistic about having a spectacular comet visible in our skies, it’s anyone’s guess if the comet will actually survive its extremely close pass of the Sun to become early...

Today, President Obama personally became re-involved in his former campaign organization's new incarnation Organizing for Action. On the same day he is scheduled to appear at two DCCC fundraisers in Chicago, the president of the United States sent the following email to OFA's mailing list, signed "Barack": Friend -- This is an experiment. Organizing for Action isn't like any other organization. It's based in Chicago, not Washington, and its task is to help restore the balance of power in government. We've seen that a bottom-up movement of passionate people can still win an election in the era of big campaign...

The government-backed electric car company Fisker Automotive laid off about 160 workers Friday, or roughly 75 percent of the automaker's staff, as it has struggled to find financial backing that would allow it to continue building its high concept clean cars. The layoff announcement came as the innovative start up faces a looming repayment on a loan from the U.S. Department of Energy, and as reports have swirled that it could be preparing to file for bankruptcy. As with the failed solar firm Solyndra, the green car company was once an early pick by the Obama Administration to be part...

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A message from above? That’s what several South Florida residents thought after looking toward the sky on the day a new pope was named. Most saw an angel in the clouds and grabbed their cameras to document the vision.

There aren’t more, because some people just don’t like to pay tolls, and others haven’t figured how they can take advantage of the lanes. Transurban is happy to have anybody’s toll money, whether they are locals or long-distance travelers, but the lanes are designed largely for the benefit of local travelers. The entrance and exit system reflects that. The Tysons area business and civic leaders with whom I’ve talked express optimism about the lanes and seem hopeful about the two new access points at Westpark Drive and Jones Branch Drive. At this early stage, the most vexing thing about the...

New Obamacare regulations will force pizza chains like Domino's to post up to 34 million nutrition signs in its stores -- one for every pizza combination the company makes. The rules require fast food and grocery stores that have more than 20 stores to require labels for each product they produce. Jenny Fouracre-Petko, the legislative director for Domino’s, said mandated signs will cost Domino’s nearly $5,000 per store. Even worse, the cost will get passed down to the consumer, many of whom will never see the signs since “10 percent of pizza customers never enter a Domino’s store” because they...

In Chicago and the Chicago Metro area there are small signs in the windows of homes and business: "PROUD UNION HOME" or "PROUD UNION MEMBER" Since there are not many Obama / Biden signs popping up I assume that these sign posters are most likely ashamed to have an Obama/Biden sign on their yard or in the window of their home. This must be a way for the Chicago union bosses to convince their members on a way to avoid having a Obama / Biden sign, but still vote for Obama.

“Donna the Deer Lady” is in on the joke and, in a follow-up interview with the Fargo, N.D. radio station that made her a YouTube sensation, said she now feels “incredibly stupid” about her misconception about deer-crossing signs. Donna’s first call to Y94 “Morning Playhouse” was on Sep. 17 during their weekly “vent line.” She said she had been in three car accidents involving deer in the past few years, and all of these accidents occurred shortly after she saw a deer-crossing sign. “My frustration is that the Minnesota and North Dakota departments of transportation would allow these deer crossings...

I've spent the last few weeks tootling round various parts of Britain and Europe, and, as always, it takes me a couple of days to acclimatize to local driving norms. I quickly appreciate being on a country lane and able to see the country, as opposed to admiring rural America's unending procession of bend signs, pedestrian-approaching signs, stop signs, stop-sign-ahead signs, stop-sign-ahead-signs-ahead signs, pedestrian-approaching-a-stop-sign signs, designated-scenic-view-ahead signs, parking-restrictions-at-the-designated-scenic-view signs, etc. It takes me a little longer to get used to the idea that I'm free to pass other cars pretty much whenever I want to, as opposed to settling in...

Officials with the Taos Police Department say they are still working to get to the bottom of the alleged beating of a Taos landowner over the removal of political signs from in front of his property. In an interview with The Taos News May 25, property owner Roy Cunnyngham and his wife Joni recounted the events when they returned home, across from Casa los Córdovas May 1. “I don’t know how many people hit me,” Cunnyngham said of the incident. According to the police report filed the same day, Eighth Judicial District Court judge candidate Ernestina Cruz was having a...

WASHINGTON - Frederick County wants to make visitors feel right at home with welcome signs highlighting some of its best aspects, but Maryland is blocking efforts to put the signs on state highways. The signs say, "Welcome to Frederick County. Open for business." Board of County Commissioners President Blaine Young said he believes politics is to blame for the state's rejection. "The state feels that government creates jobs. We feel that businesses create jobs and that's why they reject putting our signs on state-operated highways," he said. "If the State of Virginia can have 'open for business' on their welcome...

What a splendid idea some New Hampshire lawmakers are pushing: put up more than 100 road signs at the Massachusetts border, warning unwary motorists of the overregulated, high-tax hellhole they are about to enter. So many potential signs, so little space ... Massachusetts — It’s as easy as E-B-T. Welcome to Massachusetts, where what’s ours is ours and what’s yours is ours. Welcome to Mass. — Press 2 for English. Taking it in Massachusetts. Massachusetts — the Pay to Play State. Technically, It’s Not Illegal to be Illegal in Massachusetts.
