Obama supporters not proud to support Obama? (Vanity post)
Nov 4, 2012

In Chicago and the Chicago Metro area there are small signs in the windows of homes and business:

"PROUD UNION HOME" or "PROUD UNION MEMBER"

Since there are not many Obama / Biden signs popping up I assume that these sign posters are most likely ashamed to have an Obama/Biden sign on their yard or in the window of their home.

This must be a way for the Chicago union bosses to convince their members on a way to avoid having a Obama / Biden sign, but still vote for Obama.

THE HOPE & THE CHANGE

(From Citizens United, of the famous Citizens United Supreme Court case that got Obama so steamed.)

On my way to work in ‘08 in liberal suburb of NY, there were tons of Obama signs and bumper stickers. Not so this time. I see plenty of signs for the state senate Democrat candidate. I would think same household is voting for Obama but not advertising it.

I found this blog post online posted by a ‘Gay Conservative’ and his post about his meeting a “Proud Union Member.” LOL.

Illinois Ground Report: “Proud Union Member” Can’t Think of A Single Good Thing Unions Do in Chicago

Posted on September 12, 2012 by Kevin DuJan // Featured Content, Ground Reports, Midwest

“On my way home, I walked by a house that had a “Proud Union Member” sign in the front yard; unusual for the neighborhood, the owner of the house was out front raking his fallen leaves. He was a burly guy in his late-30s who looked like he doesn’t get all that much exercise. The mild raking he was doing worked up a sweat and left him short of breath.

“These “Proud Union Home” signs are all over Chicago but I’ve been waiting to find a house that displays one where the people are actually home. Today I had the opportunity to ask this “proud union member” a few questions and I hope that you, in your own neighborhoods, take the time to do so too...”

We have 2 in our town. One on top of a building owned by a blood sucking lawyer and another one in the parking lot of a restuarant and except for 3 local races there are no Dim signs.

Saw this post on another blog about the absence of Obama/Biden yard signs this year vs. 2008.

“Sometimes, but only sometimes do people realize that they are a moron and decide to quit advertising it. Too bad union people have a vested interest in being a frickin moron.”

“I would think same household is voting for Obama but not advertising it.”

Most probably are, but I strongly suspect there’s a significant percentage who will vote for Romney or abstain all together on the presidential vote.
