Police are investigating a shooting in Liberty City that sent a 10-year-old boy to the hospital. Investigators were at the scene in the 6300 block of Northwest 17th Court for hours Wednesday night going over every little detail, after the boy was caught in the crossfire next to the Liberty Square Community Center. Police say three people opened fire near a basketball court, striking the boy in the leg while he was riding his bike.
