"And they were influenced peddling. And the people paying these millions expected favors in return some some kind of public policy coming from the former vice president and maybe even a potential president of the United States. Now they got him now, he's compromised," Johnson said. Wisconsin Republican Sen. Ron Johnson on Thursday outlined the allegations against President Joe Biden and the first family, deeming it "obvious" that the Biden family was engaged in corrupt practices. Speaking on the "Just the News, No Noise" television show, Johnson addressed the litany of suspicious activity reports (SARs) documenting the dubious financial transactions...

Wisconsin GOP Sen. Ron Johnson says the Chinese-American financial institution Cathay Bank has given Senate Republicans records showing millions of dollars going from Chinese companies to President Biden's son Hunter Biden. Republicans and others started raising concerns during President Biden's successful 2020 White House campaign, if not earlier, that Hunter Biden used the family name and influence while his father was vice president to make millions in overseas business deals, which also could have compromised U.S. national security. Johnson told The Washington Times the records show the Biden family involved with the now-defunct CEFC China Energy, which had connections to...

Wiconsin Republican Sen. Ron Johnson is leading a legislative effort to limit President Joe Biden's ability to unilaterally negotiate agreements with the World Health Organization and he anticipates bipartisan support. "So my bill is pretty simple," he said on the "Just the News, No Noise" television show. "It just says any agreement that the Biden administration enters into with the World Health Organization will be deemed a treaty, and will need to come before the Senate to be ratified by two-thirds of the body." He added that the majority of Republicans in the upper chamber were already on board. "I've...

Sen. Ron Johnson: 5 Questions for FDA About Pfizer Vaccine ApprovalSen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) on Thursday sent a letter to Dr. Janet Woodruff, acting commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), demanding answers to five questions pertaining to the FDA’s approval of the Pfizer Comirnaty COVID vaccine. The FDA on Aug. 23 granted full approval to Pfizer’s vaccine, over the objections of some scientists who pointed out that full approval was based on only six months’ worth of data — despite clinical trials designed for two years — and that there was no public discussion of the data....

On June 4, 2020, the Senate committee I chair granted me the authority to issue subpoenas for records and testimony to certain agencies and individuals relating to the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation, the “unmasking” of U.S. persons affiliated with the Trump campaign, and allegations of the political corruption of US agencies. Two months later, after patiently trying to work with these agencies and individuals on a voluntary basis, I have decided to begin issuing subpoenas primarily because of my strong belief that transparency in government is essential and that the American people have waited too long for the truth. Also,...

This is a long article but the part most interesting to many Freepers is as follows: The Senate margin is even more tenuous because Sen. Tim Johnson (D-S.D.) is sidelined after emergency brain surgery. Republican leaders decided not to seek special language spelling out the terms of a transition in case of a power shift -- say, if Johnson vacates his post and his state's GOP governor appoints a Republican to replace him. Under that scenario, power would effectively shift to Republicans, because Cheney would provide the tiebreaking 51st vote. But for Republicans to take parliamentary control, the Senate would...

Julianne Fisher, a spokeswoman for the senator, said Johnson will not be present in the first days of the new Congress next week but is continuing to improve. She said he is responsive to directions from his wife but has not yet spoken. It is too soon to tell how long recovery will take, Fisher said. In a statement yesterday, Johnson's doctors said he remains in intensive care at George Washington University Hospital. They have released few new details about Johnson's condition and prognosis since the days after the Dec. 13 surgery to stop bleeding in his brain. Vivek Deshmukh,...

The blood-vessel abnormality that put South Dakota Sen. Tim Johnson in the hospital is relatively rare... ...Arteriovenous malformations, or AVMs, are tangles of blood vessels that disrupt the flow of blood and are believed in most cases to be present from birth.
