A man who allegedly broke into an Englewood home Wednesday and broke his leg trying to leave after the homeowner opened fire, has been charged with burglary, police said. But the 53-year-old homeowner fired shots at the intruders, striking one man in the buttocks, police said. The homeowner was not injured.
