Two lawmakers say the U.S. Secret Service may be running out of agents and could need to use outside help, according to the Washington Examiner. "USSS simply cannot hire enough personnel to keep pace with historic attrition rates," House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz and ranking Democrat Elijah Cummings of Maryland said Tuesday in a letter to Secret Service Director Joseph Clancy. The letter, which comes after a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) probe that questioned the agency's "ability to protect the White House and its occupants," called on the U.S. Secret Service to find ways to...

Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, was shredded by liberal media for having placed a hand on a female reporter who then claimed he assaulted her. Michelle Fields loudly proclaimed she had almost been thrown to the ground by Lewandowski – claims that were later proven to be false. Ted Cruz and John Kasich were all too happy to join the liberal media bandwagon and denounced both Lewandowski AND Donald Trump for the alleged incident and claimed they would have fired Mr. Lewandowski....

The gossip site TMZ is reporting that authorities in Florida decided not to prosecute Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski because of a video provided to them by the Republican presidential front-runner’s campaign. The report cites anonymous sources who say the unreleased video shows then-Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields being told by a Secret Service agent she was standing in an off-limits area. The scene takes place before the alleged battery occurred. TMZ also says that prosecutors were swayed by an affidavit from Secret Service agent Barton Brown, who headed up former Attorney General Eric Holder’s security detail. The affidavit reportedly says...

New York Times best-selling author and former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino explains that the GOP failed to battle President Barack Obama’s fundamental transformation of the country, and now we are feeling the consequences. He blames Republicans who lost the party brand out of self-interest and crony capitalism. Naming the battles promised but not waged, Bongino lists: Obamacare, executive amnesty, the Cromnibus, the debt ceiling, Balanced Budget Amendment, school choice, DC Opportunity Scholarships and the Environmental Protection Agency. “The reason people are in open rebellion, and make no mistake they are, is not that we lost the battles. It’s that...

NEW YORK -- The Secret Service, FBI and New York Police Department are investigating what sources tell CBS News is a threatening piece of mail sent to Donald Trump's son, Eric Trump. The mail, sent to Eric Trump at his posh Manhattan residence at 100 Central Park South, also known as Trump Parc East, was opened by his wife Thursday. A source close to the investigation said the letter had a Massachusetts postmark and warned that if Donald Trump doesn't withdraw from the race for the Republican presidential nomination -- paraphrasing -- harm will come to the kids. Investigators in...

Is the media inciting violence against Donald Trump? Frank Chung THE media wants a member of the public to kill Donald Trump. That’s the view of a growing number of commentators, who have sounded warnings about the increasingly dangerous tone to media reporting around the Republican presidential hopeful. In a lengthy blog post, Scott Adams, the creator of the popular Dilbert comic strip, has slammed the media for “priming the public to try to kill Trump”, likening the conduct to the death of Princess Diana in 1997. The author recalled how a mere three months earlier, in his book The...

He gave his keys to his girlfriend to take his car home before the rally, according to the report. “… I’m unafraid,” Dimassimo said, during a CNN interview on Sunday. “If I can be unafraid enough to go take his podium away from him, then we all can be unafraid...

I’ve been saying it for a while now, the mainstream media, alongside the politicians running against Donald Trump on both sides, are creating the conditions in which it would be totally “understandable” if there were an attempt on Trump’s life. Seriously. 1/Make #Trump enemy 2/Make him Hitler (last wk) 3/Blame for violence (this wk) 4/Make him look vulnerable (2day) 5/Someone tries to kill Think about it. First, they made Donald Trump the enemy of this race, albeit the butt of the jokes. Then the joke got unfunny. Mr. Trump started attracting serious support. And the primary victories came. And the...

During the Friday broadcast of his radio show, Glenn Beck said that if he were present at Thursday night’s Republican debate, and “had a knife,” he would have stabbed Donald Trump. “I don’t know what I would have done if I was sitting in” Cruz or Rubio’s shoes, Beck stated. “I can’t say it that way. If I were on the stage, I would have said, ‘have you been listening to him tonight? Have you been listening to what I say about him?’ I believe these things.” “If I was close enough and had a knife, the stabbing just wouldn’t...

On Wednesday, August 12, 2009, a man holding a sign that said "Death to Obama" at a town hall meeting in Maryland was detained and turned over to the Secret Service which will likely soon charge him with threatening the president. As well they should. I fully and absolutely agree with the Secret Service pursuing this case, since anyone who threatens the president is breaking the law and should be prosecuted. It doesn’t matter that Obama was not at the meeting nor that the man was unarmed: the threat all on its own is a federal crime, according to the United...
