One student is dead and another is charged with murder after a stabbing at a high school in Milford on Friday morning. The fatal stabbing happened at the Jonathan Law High School on Lansdale Avenue. "I saw teachers and one teacher was hysterical," said eyewitness Rebecca Golden. The victim, 16-year-old junior Maren Sanchez, was found with severe neck injuries in a stairwell by a staff member around 7:14 a.m. "There was a teacher who actually walked upon it and saw a portion of it," said Milford Police Chief Keith Mello. An official says four students were believed to be seriously injured at a high school near Pittsburgh, where a student with a knife stabbed or slashed others, injuring as many as 20. Westmoreland County emergency management spokesman Dan Stevens says not all of the 20 injured were cut by the knife, though most were. Some suffered scrapes and cuts in the mayhem that ensued at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville on Wednesday morning.-

A school cafeteria fight turned deadly this morning at a high school in Houston where one student was stabbed to death and three others were injured, police said today. Three persons of interest are in custody, police said.

A 13-year-old boy has been charged with murder after the stabbing death of a student at a Brisbane bayside school. Elliot Fletcher, 12, was stabbed in the chest at St Patrick's College at Shorncliffe about 8:00am AEST yesterday. He was taken to Brisbane's Royal Children's Hospital in a serious condition but later died. Police allege the boy was stabbed with a knife by a 13-year-old fellow student. The 13-year-old was found nearby with minor wounds and has been charged with murder. The accused boy is due to appear in the Brisbane Children's Court today. It is not clear what sparked...
