Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and Fox News Channel are parting ways, according to a report in Real Clear Politics. I have just received this sad communication from my sister-in-law about her sister, Sarah, who is suffering from breast cancer. She had been admitted to an acute care center in El Paso where she was to continue radiation and chemo, but has been returned to the hospital. (More in comments section.)

Sarah Palin told Americans, and conservatives in particular, to not lose heart following yesterday’s loss. From her Facebook page: America, don’t lose heart. I’m sorry Fox cancelled all my scheduled interviews tonight because I sure wanted to take the opportunity on the air to highlight Senator John McCain’s positive contributions to America, to honor him, and to reflect on what a biased media unfairly put him through four years ago tonight.
