RUSH: You know what I did? I took my own advice, folks, and I went back last night and I watched some election night coverage. I told you yesterday if you want to find out why all of this is happening, go back and watch election night coverage. Pick any network, including Fox — it doesn’t matter — and start about 7 p.m. and watch a little, fast forward, watch a little more, and you’ll note that at about 9 to 9:30 is when the party-like atmosphere on every network begins to change obviously and dramatically. And from 9:30 on...

Maskirovka is the Russian use of deception to confuse, mislead and camouflage oneself from the enemy, and is employed at all levels from tactical operations in war to global, strategic developments. Once upon a time senior members of the US government created a Russian fairy tale. It is nothing more than a total fabrication, a spider’s web of lies that continues to occupy the news cycle, waste tax payer dollars and threaten the Presidency of Donald, J. Trump. In fact, it may very well be labeled the greatest story ever told – that President Trump, members of his cabinet and...

The ex-British spy who wrote the so-called Trump dossier briefed FBI agents on his research at the beginning of July, much earlier than previously believed. Weeks after the briefing with the retired spy, Christopher Steele, the FBI formally opened its investigation into possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russian government. FBI director Jim Comey confirmed the existence and general date of the investigation during testimony in front of the House Intelligence Committee on Monday. According to Yahoo! News, federal government sources said Steele briefed investigators on his findings on July 5. That was around two weeks after the ex-MI6...

The Feds were monitoring Russian activity at Trump Tower — but it was years before President Trump ever ran for office. The FBI had a court-sanctioned warrant from 2011 to 2013 to monitor a Russian crime organization working out of a unit three floors below President Trump’s penthouse, according to an ABC News report. Listening in on the Russians’ happenings resulted in more than 30 people being indicted in April 2013, with federal agents raiding the Trump Tower apartment. But the mastermind, Alimzhan Tokhtakhunov, got away and has since fled the United States justice system. Emergence of the Russian gambling...

Trump haters are investing their faith in what appears to be an FBI wind-up doll, while We the People invest their faith in Divine Providence Canada Free Press reader Bette Hayes sent a note this morning commenting on the bleak look in FBI director James Comey’s eyes during yesterday’s Congressional hearings. My response back to her was that the eyes are the windows of the soul and Comey’s have ‘that haunted look of a lost and tortured soul’. No matter how much the Obama appointed Comey achieved in a long career with the FBI, he is now the wind-up doll sent...

President Trump’s former campaign chairman on Monday denied any ties to or contact with the Russian government after the FBI confirmed it is investigating Trump allies’ alleged links to Moscow. Paul Manafort said he “had no involvement” in Russia’s intervention in the 2016 presidential elections, including its email hacking of prominent Democratic groups and figures, and never spoke to Russian officials who claimed to be involved. “The suggestion that I ever worked in concert with anyone to release hacked emails or sought to undermine the interests of the United States is false,” he said in a statement. The former top...

The big losers of the Russian hacking scandal may yet be those who invested all their capital in a script that turned out to based on a fairy tale. In Monday's Intelligence Committee hearings, James Comey did confirm that his FBI has found nothing to support President Trump's tweet that President Obama ordered him wiretapped. Not unexpected, but undeniably an embarrassment for the tweeter-in-chief. Yet longer-term damage may have been done to the left. For Monday's hearing showed that its rendering of the campaign of 2016 may be a product of fiction and a fevered imagination. After eight months investigating...

Fox News has reportedly pulled Andrew Napolitano from the air indefinitely after he made claims that a British intelligence agency had wiretapped Trump Tower. Napolitano, a Fox News analyst, is not scheduled to appear on the network in the near future, the Los Angeles Times reported, according to people familiar with the situation. Last week, Napolitano made the claims about the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) spying on Trump at former President Barack Obama's behest. White House press secretary Sean Spicer then quoted Napolitano's remarks while defending the president's claims earlier this month that the former president had wiretapped Trump Tower...

The most interesting element of the FBI’s investigation is the fact that it centers around the President’s supposed ties to Russia. The Democrats and mainstream media have pushed this maddening dogma for quite some time, despite lacking concrete evidence to substantiate their claims. Former national security advisor, Mike Flynn received payment from countries that were tied to Russia in 2015 and since his resignation, the Left grasped onto the notion that President Trump’s alleged ties to Russia are what won him the election.

The FBI is investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with a covert Russian operation to interfere with the election, FBI Director James Comey told Congress Monday — and he refuted the president's baseless claim that his predecessor wiretapped his communications. Comey's confirmation in testimony before the House Intelligence Committee that the Trump campaign was the subject of a U.S. counterintelligence investigation was a revelation that could shadow the Trump presidency.

FBI Director James Comey’s testimony Monday that the bureau has been quietly investigating possible links between associates of President Donald Trump and Russian officials since the summer enraged Democrats who already blame him for rattling the 2016 campaign’s closing days. For the first time, Comey confirmed that the FBI had opened a probe into the Trump campaign in July, the same month he called an unusual news conference to announce the agency had finished its investigation into whether Hillary Clinton mishandled classified information — and three months before he scrambled the White House race a second time by announcing that...

Russia is pressing Turkey for access to a key airbase used by the US as it tries to extend its influence in the Middle East. The American-built Incirlik base, about 100km from the Syrian border, is used by NATO and has about 50 US tactical nuclear warheads stored on site. A senior Russian politician said allowing Russian jets and bombers to use it would be a “logical continuation” of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s efforts to rebuild Turkey’s relations with the Kremlin. “It just remains to come to an agreement with Erdogan that we get the NATO base Incirlik as our...

The adversary is a master at spinning truth in lies and deceit. As a result, those who are not grounded in the Word have tremendous difficulty discerning the difference between God's truth and man's truth, creating a web of confusion and distraction. In this week's update, John brings us up to date on issues in the world, including the recent movement toward the idea that each person must determine their own gender-identity (as opposed to it being determined by physical and DNA attributes), plus of folks into the churches without worry about their Middle East, including Turkey's planned expansion and...

My latest Counter Propa article addresses the vapid groupthink that cost Democrats the election and catapulted Donald Trump into the presidency. Focus only on Trump, they say. Trump’s victory is an anomaly and he’ll be impeached soon, believe smart Democratic strategists. Repeat the same Democratic playbook of circling the wagons and ignoring blatant hypocrisy, while addressing only Trump’s flaws. This way Democrats will win, even though they lost miserably in 2016 utilizing the same failed strategies. Trump’s executive orders should be the only focus, even after Democrats literally elevated Trump into the White House. Keith Olbermann just blamed Jill Stein...

WASHINGTON Federal investigators are examining whether far-right news sites played any role last year in a Russian cyber operation that dramatically widened the reach of news stories — some fictional — that favored Donald Trump’s presidential bid, two people familiar with the inquiry say. Operatives for Russia appear to have strategically timed the computer commands, known as “bots,” to blitz social media with links to the pro-Trump stories at times when the billionaire businessman was on the defensive in his race against Democrat Hillary Clinton, these sources said. Russian President Vladimir Putin is accused by the FBI of ordering a...

This week Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) questioned Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-Ken) loyalties after Paul voted not to extend NATO military support to Montenegro. In turn, Paul questioned McCain’s judgment. As McCain reasoned, Paul’s refusal to extend the United States’ guarantee to defend Montenegro from potential Russian aggression was “doing Putin’s bidding.” As Paul sees it, though, “the United States is already overextended in terms of its military deployments around the world and it would be foolish to add to that.” “Inasmuch as Sen. McCain has been an avid advocate of arming every Islamic ‘freedom fighter’ in the Middle East, including...

There may be no one with whom partisans on both sides of the political divide have a more conflicted relationship with than FBI Director James Comey. During the 2016 election cycle, he served for partisan liberals and conservatives as, at varying points, both savior and antagonist. Observers suffered whiplash watching as the FBI director evolved from upstanding and forthright public servant to political hack seemingly overnight. Today, while few will permit themselves to say it aloud, Democrats depended on Comey to corroborate their nagging suspicion that either Donald Trump or his associates collaborated with Russian officials. It was, thus, more...

The democrats are doing a full court press in trying to prove Russia influenced our elections. Ok, if true, why then was Russia so successful in hacking, spying and actively disrupting our democratic processes under President Obama? Complete intelligence breakdown or what? Obama's criminal negligence and incompetence? Obama/Hillary complicity? Obama sound asleep at the switch? Or what?
