  • 'Reckless Behavior' Will Haunt Hillary

Hillary Clinton may not have been indicted by the FBI, but she will likely face a barrage of stinging rebukes from Donald Trump and others as she battles for the presidency in November. “How many different ways can you spell ‘reckless behavior’ commercials?” said Franklin and Marshall College professor G. Terry Madonna. “They will be ubiquitous.” Slammed by what FBI Director James Comey called “extreme carelessness” for using a personal email server rather than her official email while in Barack Obama’s Cabinet from 2009-12, Clinton will find a tough road ahead.

....emails....show a 2009 [Clinton] request to issue a secure government smartphone to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was denied by the National Security Agency. (Snip) Resolving the issue was given such priority as to result in a face-to-face meeting between Clinton chief of staff Cheryl Mills, seven senior State Department staffers with five NSA security experts. .......the request was driven by Clinton's reliance on her BlackBerry for email and keeping track of her calendar. Clinton chose not to use a laptop or desktop computer that could have provided her access to email in her office, according to the summary..........

“I am confident that I never sent or received any information that was classified at the time it was sent and received.” That is what former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told reporters last July. At least we now know that was not true. In announcing that the FBI would be recommending to the higher-ups at the Department of Justice that no charges be filed against Clinton, Director James Comey stated:

Hillary still belongs in prison. If she were a Republican, she would be. The deals have been made. Bill Clinton met with Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and FBI Director James Comey has been threatened with losing his job after Orlando (among other things they probably have on him), and so now the front page of every mainstream media outlet has breathed a sigh of relief, and are proclaiming that no charges will be filed against Hillary Clinton over the email case. They treat it like it is a win, when in reality, this is a huge loss for America. Comey...

Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump suggested presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton was bribing Attorney General Loretta Lynch during his campaign rally in Raleigh, North Carolina on Tuesday night. “I think it’s a bribe!” Trump stated, reacting to a recent New York Times report where Clinton said she may keep Lynch on as Attorney General if she’s elected President of the United States.

The FBI declares Clinton guilty, but refuses to push for charges FBI Director James Comey said in essence yesterday that Hillary Clinton’s email adventures violated the Espionage Act but refused to recommend the former U.S. secretary of state be prosecuted for her crimes. With her hacker-friendly private email servers that appear to have been penetrated by foreign intelligence agencies, Clinton is now in the company of Aaron Burr, Bradley Manning, and Edward Snowden all of whom betrayed the public trust. The failure to hold her accountable is yet more proof that the Clintons are above the law. No matter what...

"The arc of the moral universe is long," shouted the freshly unindicted Hillary Clinton at a Democratic rally in North Carolina, with President Barack Obama at her side and the FBI behind her in her dust, "but it bends toward justice." She nodded in triumphant agreement with herself, her head moving up and down, chin stabbing the air, a righteous bobblehead Hillary reaching for the presidency of the United States. Clinton attributed the phrase to Obama, but he'd taken it from Martin Luther King Jr., who years before had taken it from the abolitionist Theodore Parker, who didn't live to...

In parts I & II last April, I referenced Niccolo’ Machiavelli’s examination of the tough job that awaits good men in corrupt republics to restore free government. Just as a body in motion tends to stay in motion in the direction it is headed, so too do societies and their governments. The government of our republic, dedicated to unalienable rights, has been so corrupted that its next president might be not a hidden traitor, but one who openly sold out her country. Crooked Hillary is a symptom, rather than a cause. Congress long ago perfected the art of exempting themselves...

When the Obama Administration, on July 5th, ruled that in regard to Hillary Clinton’s privatized email system while she was Secretary of State, "Our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case” to a grand jury, because “We cannot find a case that would support bringing criminal charges,” they ignored the following six U.S. criminal laws, each of which undeniably describes very well what she did: 18 U.S. Code § 2232 — Destruction or removal of property to prevent seizure(a) Destruction or Removal of Property To Prevent SeizureWhoever, before, during, or after any search for or seizure of property by...

Presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton pledged that she’ll continue to request presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump release his tax returns. “We’re going to keep asking to see Donald Trump’s tax returns,” Clinton stated while campaigning with President Obama in North Carolina on Tuesday. Clinton has previously knocked Trump over his tax returns while on the campaign trail. “What about his taxes? We will get around to that too. Because when you run for president, especially when you become the nominee that is kind of expected,” Clinton stated in May. “My husband and I have released 33 years of tax returns,...

If Comey had recommended prosecution, they may have gone ahead and had a trial and cleared her, thereby making it impossible she could ever be tried again due to double jeopardy. As it is now, the next administration could come along and prosecute, as the statute of limitations would not have run out.
