Stand up and salute the flag, you spoiled brats. By taking a knee during the national anthem you preen with an ignorant bravado and spit on the nation that made you rich. It’s pathetic that strong, skilled NFL athletes have succumbed to a lie. You’ve swallowed the false assumption that this remarkable country purposely robs its minorities of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Exercise some intelligent independence, awareness and gratitude for your privileged existence. Stand up!

One of the things that protestors in South Korea know is that the local riot police have ample experience with demonstrators. While a viable democracy, South Korea has seen out-of-control street riots in its turbulent past. Now authorities across the political spectrum are unwilling to allow anyone to go too far. Peaceful demonstrations? Sure, but don’t press your luck. While American demonstrators – including the most violent – are accustomed to being treated with kid gloves; in South Korea the gloves are off. This is something that career protestors Cindy “Peace Mom” Sheehan and Code Pink’s Medea Benjamin might want...

Moral superiority is the lily-white garb donned by progressive true believers to shore up their self-image as charitable guardian angels of lesser beings. It feeds on constant virtue-signaling to keep the image pure, broadcast to an array of identity groups who eat up their public self-reverence. The archenemy of their moral superiority is the merest hint of moral equivalence (whatever that is!) with apostates on the right. Such a suggestion is an existential threat to progressive supremacy and simply must not be abided. Embrace of their supremacy demands they reflexively label challengers as bigots, racists, sexists, evil, Nazis, homophobes, climate-deniers,...

Kyle Chapman, who is accused of engaging in violent brawls in Berkeley during pro-Trump and "alt right" rallies earlier this year, was cuffed and taken to jail from an Alameda County courtroom this morning after a judge set his bail at $135,000. Chapman, a Daly City resident, is charged by the district attorney with possession of an illegal weapon in the form of a stick. Berkeley police officers wrote in charging documents that he was seen beating people with the stick and dousing people with pepper spray on March 4. At a morning court hearing in Oakland, Judge Mark McCannon...

Police said he's still being interviewed and hasn't been booked on any charges yet. When 3TV/CBS 5 talked to him on Wednesday, he asked us not to use his name. Phoenix police haven't identified him. They returned...

President Donald Trump is in trouble again with his Moral Superiors. His problem, of course, is that he cannot throttle his B.S. Detector. Trump it seems at some point in life acquired a B.S. Detector that has usually served him well. It certainly served him well during his long years in business and during his brief time in politics. Now, however, it is problematic. The Detector sounds an alarm when it perceives B.S., and during the Charlottesville disruptions it went wild. Every time the Mainstream Media or a political figure (usually a Democrat) began vituperating against only one side in...

I guess this is what we can look forward to for the foreseeable future. When the president of the United States decides to show up somewhere and say words, left-wingers will riot. And why not? The Washington Post is already building the narrative that conservatives who dare to say words are instigating the inevitable violence. The mayor of Phoenix, who is a Democrat, asked Trump to cancel the Tuesday night rally - mainly out of partisan motivation but also because he knew this would probably happen. When a left-wing mob threatens to wreak havoc and assault your police, give them...

Big-money groups are helping to organize and fuel 'AstroTurf' progressive uprisings. ... The housing, the food, the organized activities and the defense attorneys at the ready made the riots possible. But why did news reports never mention that the riots were being funded? ... The DisruptJ20 website says its efforts are "nationally supported" ... The Black Lives Matter movement, one of the organizers of the violent counterprotests in Charlottesville, Virginia, on Saturday, does take money ... Open Society Foundation documents showed that the George Soros-funded group gave Black Lives Matter groups $650,000. The Ford Foundation subsequently announced that it was...

Charlottesville Virginia erupted in riots on Saturday August 12, 2017 which was characterized by our media as alt left and alt right spontaneously erupting over some monument in Charlottesville, VA. Subsequent discussion reveals there was nothing spontaneous about this horrific event. A video clip making the rounds mentioned an EYE WITNESS to KKK/NAZI/ANTIFA/BLM ARRIVING ON SAME BUSES in Charlotte that day . After locating the video channel, sure enough, the young man followed up on his claim having access to this eyewitness. His follow-up video-chat interview of approximately 40 minutes length follows below along with a rough transcript. Charles Patrick:...

Another activist group has been stood up by George Soros over the past few years. It is called Refuse Fascism and although the name may be a bit misleading, the objective is to drive President Donald Trump from office. They have already held what they call “regional conferences” in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles and Austin Texas. Vehemently communist, they have every intention of over throwing the United States Government. It is the intention of these anarchist groups to end the Trump-Pence “regime”. As they see it, they are declaring the Trump administration as fascist even though there...

A scuffle broke out between an Antifa member and a member of Black Lives Matter on Saturday during a rally to protest white supremacy and the Confederate monuments in Dallas. According to the event’s Facebook page, the event “Dallas Against White-Supremacy” took place in front of Dallas City Hall, which is located near a Civil War memorial honoring the lives of Texans who fell fighting for the Confederacy. The Washington Post reported that 2,300 people attended the rally. A scuffle reportedly broke out as the event was ending. According to the Post, there “was a lot of pushing and shoving”...

As colleges and universities prepare for the return of students in the coming weeks, one of the few administrators willing to criticize the tidal wave of intellectual intolerance on campus is expecting “a mess” when the new semester dawns. Oklahoma Wesleyan University President Dr. Everett Piper gained tremendous notoriety in 2015 when he wrote an opinion column decrying universities for coddling student demands for safe spaces and the eradication of ideas that don’t mesh with the orthodoxy of political correctness. In that column, he famously declared that a college is not a daycare. He is now author of “Not A...

I work for a college which is very liberal these days, in your face banners and condescending "workshops" open to all frequently, with "diversity credit" (reference below). It's sickening enough. Including having Moochelle Uhbama here the other year. But since Trump was elected, now we get hand-wringing e-mails about "hatred" and that we need to beware of evil right-wing people who cause violence (LOL). Got another one today.

Maybe we should let all the facts get in before we judge. This video certainly does show a different story than what is being told by the media. ~cornman

I wonder how many of the counter-protesters at the Charlottesville event even had any idea who Robert E. Lee was. He was a major hero of the Mexican-American War. He fought for the Confederacy against the Union, but at the time he did it, it was not illegal. Slavery was — while 100 percent evil — completely protected by law as of 1861. When Lee went to work to defend his native Virginia, he was not violating any law. When the Army of Northern Virginia surrendered at Appomattox Court House in the spring of 1865, some officers of Lee’s Army...

Trump ignited a political firestorm yesterday during an impromptu press conference in which he said there was "blame on both sides" for the tragic events that occurred in Charlottesville over the weekend. Now, the discovery of a craigslist ad posted last Monday, almost a full week before the Charlottesville protests, is raising new questions over whether paid protesters were sourced by a Los Angeles based "public relations firm specializing in innovative events" to serve as agitators in counterprotests. The ad was posted by a company called "Crowds on Demand" and offered $25 per hour to "actors and photographers" to...

One thing overlooked in the uproar over Charlottesville is that this was, evidently, merely a dress rehearsal for a much larger-scale effort planned for this Autumn. Activist groups on the left evidently have something big in store for November 4th. The idea seems to be a revival of the 1971 “Days of Rage” – an effort to shut down the country as a whole to force a change in government. Thanks to one of many political mailing lists that AT finds itself on, we received an email last Sunday from the “Stop Mass Incarceration Network,” a little-known left-wing agitation group,...
