He’s singlehandedly helped to unravel a brand that some people thought could never be taken down by politicizing the sport. Americans do not want activism mixed in with their sports. I don’t know how much clearer they can make it to the sports community. Just look at the abysmal NBA, MLB, and NASCAR ratings.
