President Biden lounged Sunday on Rehoboth Beach while the town of Lahaina on the island of Maui was still smoking, with photos of the once-idyllic paradise showing a charred wasteland. The grim images, the unfathomable loss of life, the haunting, sickening knowledge the news would only worsen as the days passed: It would have brought any stoic to tears. But not beach bum Biden. Ol’ Joe was busy relaxing in his lounge chair for hours getting some vitamin D and living out one of those cheesy “Beach life” mottos you see painted on driftwood.

The Department of Justice improperly withheld public documents related to Fast and Furious after the first Freedom of Information (FOI) requests for them several years ago. The agency was recently forced to produce some of the materials to the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch, which filed a FOI lawsuit to obtain the information. (To date, the Justice Department still has not complied with FOI law in providing the same public documents to me as a FOI requestor.) Have been sitting, waiting to see my good doctor in south Florida. I can hear the Hispanic women who run the office....assistants AND the chief nurse....on the phone with prospective and in examining rooms with current patients. Bottom line? They are taking Obamacare to the woodshed. By name...."He is controlling it all" and "the Obamacare is crazy"....."the different insurances you can get is all controlled by Obamacare".... They don't say it with anger, just very matter of fact...but the message is clear to the patients. Happening right now.

This is a fantastic 5-minute video of a black man at a Republican campaign office talking about his journey from being a Democrat to becoming a conservative. Having gone on the same journey seven years ago, I’m ever-intrigued by what causes this shift. And more importantly, how to nurture it in others. In this case, the gentleman in the video was a Democrat because (1) he is black and therefore liberal party alliance is automatic, and (2) he had a long-held belief that the Democratic Party was the party for everyday people.

I'm here in the interest of being more neighborly. Maybe we would have gotten off on a better foot if I had brought over a fruitcake when we first moved in. I understand the significance of your obligations to your shareholders. I get it. But as we work with you to make America a better place to do business, ask yourselves what you can do for America. I want to put more people to work rebuilding crumbling roads and bridges.

Yesterday, New York Times reporter Judith Miller stood before a federal judge and defied his order to testify before a grand jury.
