  • John Kerry Reaches New Height of Idiocy [semi-satire]

Secretary of State John Kerry reached a new height of idiocy this past week by suggesting air conditioners were just as dangerous as ISIS. The remarks came in Vienna where Kerry was representing the US in negotiations aimed at reducing emissions that contribute to global warming. “Granted, the terror attacks carried out by these misguided individuals are splashy,” Kerry observed. “Dozens die and even more are maimed and injured, but the fact is that these effects are small-scale and of limited duration and consequence. We easily overlook some of the offsetting benefits. The people killed cease to be carbon emitters....

Political Islam is not a religion. It is a political system that disguises itself as religion in order to achieve its ultimate goal: to conquer and subjugate the entire world to Sharia law through terror. Political Islam’s modern-day method of accomplishing this goal is to use the laws of free nations to their advantage in order to further their political agenda. Political Islam has enslaved civilizations for over 1400 years. Most were subjugated by violence. However, in recent history this ideology has seized control of western nations incrementally. The first stage is accomplished through propaganda. This method of repeated deception...
  • Father Jacques Hamel a saint in life and in death

If there is any time that Christians need a Patron Saint for Protection against Islamic Terrorism, it is right now Father Jacques Hamel, whose throat was cut by smiling terrorists on the altar of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray Church, was everything his Islamic terrorist killers were not. Still profoundly loyal to his Creator in his 85th year, Father died trying to defend the parishioners who came to church to celebrate Mass. No matter how many years pass after his death, Father Hamel will always be remembered as the rose that took bloom among the bramble of horrific Islamic terrorism, a rose whose petals...

Over the last several months—and especially the last few weeks—much has been made of the “Ferguson effect.” The phenomenon is now so widely discussed that it has its own Wikipedia page (though I wouldn’t suggest visiting it for an explanation). St. Louis police chief Sam Dotson coined the phrase in November of 2014, but Heather MacDonald popularized it in a Wall Street Journal op-ed in 2015... Again, out-of-wedlock births in the U.S. are at historic highs, and the vast majority of black children in America are born to single mothers. And just as criminal gangs and other undesirables fill the...
  • "Eat, Drink, and Be Merry" (Sermon on Ecclesiastes 1-2, Luke 12, and Colossians 3)

“Eat, Drink, and Be Merry” (Ecclesiastes 1:2, 12-14; 2:18-26; Luke 12:13-21; Colossians 3:1-11) We all want to live the good life, don’t we? I mean, we want to have the best life now that we can have. Financial security, good health, no worries about our future, a nice place to live, happy family life, good friends and neighbors--who doesn’t want all that? Your best life now. Ah, wouldn’t that be sweet! A steak on the grill, a margarita in your hand, relaxing on the patio in the shade. Take life easy, eat, drink, and be merry! And is there anything...

Dear Mr. Khan: I, like millions of Americans saw your speech at the DNC on Thursday night. I wish to offer my sympathy for the death of your son, Captain Humayun Khan, who was killed in action in Iraq. As a former US Army officer, and a veteran of the Gulf War, I can certainly understand the pain and anguish that you and your wife endure every day. Your son died saving the lives of his fellow soldiers. As John the Baptist wrote, Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends....
  • The Press and the Dems Covering Up Trump’s Being for and Not against Peace-Loving Muslims

Those who accuse Trump of being anti-Muslim, racist, and anti-women are enemies of the truth more than they are enemies of radical Islamic terrorists If there has been a more significant cover-up recently than Hillary’s emails and the Democratic National Committee’s emails revealing the bigotry of many leading Democrats, it is the cover-up of the fact that Donald J. Trump has demonstrated he is not only not anti-Muslim, and not only pro-peaceful Muslim, but more pro-peaceful Muslim than all the leading leftists, liberals, and Democrats. Donald Trump never said he was opposed to all Muslims; to the contrary, he made...

While it is becoming increasingly difficult, in the face of glaring evidence to the contrary, for members of the Marxist Left to deny their war on Christianity, they still press on with their deceptive denials. “There’s no ‘war on Christianity’!” they mockingly proclaim. But now, Matt Barber, with the assistance of Paul Hair, has written a book that shatters the lies of Christ haters everywhere. In “Hating Jesus: The American Left’s War On Christianity,” Matt takes the reader step by step through the irrefutable facts about the war on Christianity and Christians being waged in the United States. The ultimate...
  • A tale of two opening prayers: RNC and DNC side by side

I don’t think I need to say too much here. They videos speak for themselves pretty nicely. But I’ll make these two observations: The RNC prayer makes multiple mentions of Jesus and acknowledges His lordship, while not mentioning any political candidate a single time. DNC mentions: Hillary 1, Jesus 0. I am quite aware that different churches have different styles of worship, but even urban Pentecostal churches don’t whoop and holler during prayer. Every other time, you bet, but not during prayer.

Following the brutal murder of an elderly Catholic Priest in France, ISIS has publicly warned British Christian clergy and their congregants: you’re next. Police publicly warned Britain’s 5.4 million Christian church goers, pastors and clergy to be on alert as they are likely targets for ISIS. The Daily Mail reports that security has now been increased for Britain’s 47,000 churches in response to ISIS’s threat to target Christians and churches in major world cities. Roughly 5.4 million British citizens are church members.

Four years ago, the Democratic rank-and-file showed its true stripes in booing references to G-d, and Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, both of which had been omitted from the party’s original platform but were rammed through over a failed voice vote by former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. Would it come as any surprise then that in 2016 the younger, angrier, true-believing progressives outside the Democratic National Convention would literally burn that wretched sign of “Zionist imperialism” that is the Israeli flag? In fact, such anti-Semitism masquerading as anti-Zionism represents the quintessential act of a progressive movement dedicated to...

Not that anyone's going to mention it at the DNC The Democratic National Convention is only one day old. So far, ISIS hasn’t been mentioned a single time, nor has anyone talked about the importance of defending the free exercise of religion. Then again, why would either of those things happen? Democrats have no interest in fighting ISIS or any other practitioners of radical Islamic terrorism. And the vast majority of them detest Christianity. So you can see why an event like this would scarcely get their attention:

And guess what: The prayer leader asked for it I guess people who think Jesus was a socialist figure it’s no big deal to substitute one socialist for another, hey? Dr. Cynthia Hale, who offered the opening prayer, is senior pastor of Ray of Hope Christian Church in Atlanta. She’s not just some Democrat political hack who was told to go up there and go through the motions of doing a prayer so they could say they did it. And my discernment tells me that she was trying to be sincere, although I note two things:

We live in a world dominated by propaganda, punditry and increasing pagandom where we rely on a media in bed with the government for truth Now that the Godless are gathered in one spot for the next few days at the Wells Fargo Center, in Philadelphia, we should take a good look at what we’re up against. This is our future, and it isn’t pretty and it isn’t good. The Democrats are doing a demon’s dance with every one of their many perversions on full display, paying flagrant homage to their coronated queen, the corrupt Hillary Clinton.

Those of you who thought that German anti-Semitism died in Hitler's bunker were sadly mistaken. I am currently reading German reporter Tuvia 'Tobi' Tenenbaum's Catch the Jew, in which Tenenbaum, who grew up as an Israeli Haredi, poses as a German reporter to gain access to 'Palestinians' and self-hating Jews. One of the things that's striking about the book is how much of the 'Palestinians' day-to-day activities are financed by European government NGO's (yes, that's why we just adopted an NGO law), and how many of those NGO's are financed by Germans. Why? Because many Germans, including those in...

“Raised, Rooted, and Walking” (Colossians 2:6-15) “Raised, Rooted, and Walking”: This is the rhythm of the Christian life. “Raised, Rooted, and Walking”: This is God’s will for you, in your life. “Raised, Rooted, and Walking”: This is how Paul describes it in our Epistle lesson for today, from Colossians 2. Let’s take a look. Paul writes, in Colossians 2:6-7: “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” Here we have all three aspects, the “Raised,” the “Rooted,”...

We must take back our Constitution and reverse the perverse interpretations by lawyers of the Charter for Rights and Freedoms so that all children in Canadian schools learn how to get along with one another in a secular world For those who many not be aware, there is in Canada a separation between mosque and state. Our public school system is secular. As in non-religious affiliated. Except on Ontario where we have a Catholic system that dates back to the BNA Act of 1867. The beauty of Canada is that all religions are treated equally. No one religious group getting...

And why telling the truth about her sounds like hate . . . because there's a lot to hate about the truth We’re hearing today from the political media - and even a few weak-kneed pastors - that it was “hate” for Ben Carson to associate Hillary with Lucifer via Saul Alinsky, as he did last night. This is partly because the political class and their media stenographers have no idea what to do with serious discussions of God, faith and the spiritual world as it really is. But it’s also the result of another phenomenon that’s unique to Hillary....
