MILAN – Italian authorities say a bus driver transporting schoolchildren stopped his vehicle on a provincial highway, told the passengers to get off and then doused the interior with gasoline and set it on fire. A North Carolina teen who decapitated his mother and then walked outside carrying her head had murder charges against him dropped. Authorities dismissed the charge on Wednesday saying Oliver Funes-Machada isn't mentally competent to stand trial. A Bangladeshi refugee, who raped a 16-year-old high-school girl in France, has been acquitted by the court due to “different cultural norms,” according to reports. The refugee, who attended the same school as his victim in the French city of Saint-Lô, was also charged with sexually assaulting another young girl in 2015.
