The Supreme Court's decision in Dred Scott v. Sandford is unanimously denounced by scholars.... Opponents of slavery fiercely attacked the Dred Scott decision. The Evening Journal of Albany, New York, combined two themes and denounced the decision as both an offense to the principles of liberty on which the nation was founded, and a victory for slave states over the free states:[32].. That editorial ended on a martial note: All who love Republican institutions and who hate Aristocracy, compact yourselves together for the struggle which threatens your liberty and will test your manhood! Many abolitionists and some supporters of slavery...

"Jack Cashill talked about his book Scarlet Letters: The Ever-Increasing Intolerance of the Cult of Liberalism, in which he argues that the progressive agenda has eroded traditional values. Mr. Cashill says that progressives force assumptions on anyone who disagrees with their political and social agenda and argues that all conservatives are an awkwardly worded tweet away from being branded homophobic, racist, sexist, Islamophobic, or worse."

Today, I hear a lot of cries for tolerance, especially of Islam. I'm told, "Stop the hating of Muslims." Many of the very people I hear this from like to point to the Constitution and to the Founding Fathers and especially to the First Amendment and declare that Islam should be tolerated in America. However, I wonder if they have paid attention to either the Constitution or the Founding Fathers on this matter. Specifically, I wonder if they have even considered the words and actions of the third President of the United States, Thomas Jefferson, especially his sense of reading...

Supreme Court Illegally Strikes Down Marriage Laws in Four States - Each Justice Approving Should Be Immediately Impeached On Friday, the Supreme Court illegally ruled to strike down four state marriage laws. The 5-4 ruling is said to make way for sodomy-based "marriage." The ruling illegally addressed Michigan, Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee's lawful declaration that marriage is between a man and a woman. The Washington Times reports: The ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges said the 14th Amendment requires a state to license a marriage between people of same-sex, and also recognize same-sex marriages from out of state. The 14th Amendment,...

It seems that over the last 18 to 24 months, he has been gloating over polls showing that Hillary is "Way Way Ahead" of every potential candidate, Republican and Democrat for the 2016 race. Oh Yes! The Genius, The Architect, The Smartest Man on The Five has been calling the 2016 race for Hillary all of this time. Well Juan? Who's the Political Turkey this week?

This town hall meeting took place Sep 10, 2001 in Amherst Mass 12 hours before the first plane struck the towers in New York City, before the Pentagon was hit, and before Flight 93 was taken down in a suicide dive by the terrorists who were beign overrun by brave Americans. This video is significant because of the statements made at the 40 minute to 50 minute mark and again at the 1 hour 10 minute mark which were in response to comments made at the 45 minute mark. Keep in mind this was made 12 hours before the World...

The EU should "do its best to undermine" the "homogeneity" of its member states, the UN's special representative for migration has said. Peter Sutherland told peers the future prosperity of many EU states depended on them becoming multicultural. He also suggested the UK government's immigration policy had no basis in international law. He was being quizzed by the Lords EU home affairs sub-committee which is investigating global migration. Mr Sutherland, who is non-executive chairman of Goldman Sachs International and a former chairman of oil giant BP, heads the Global Forum on Migration and Development , which brings together representatives of...

AN UNCONSTRAINED ANALYTICS REPORT Exploiting Ignorance in the Post Subversion PhaseAssessing What ISIS Wants in Light of the ‘Countering Violent Extremism’ NarrativeStephen Coughlin 14 August 2015 Graeme Wood’s March 2015 Atlantic article “What ISIS Really Wants” brought back a few bad memories from my days at the Pentagon, where I was mobilized to the Joint Staff Intelligence after 9/11. One such memory was the frequent assertion, beginning around 2003, that “Sistani is a ‘quietist’.” Another was the March 2007 Foreign Affairs article “The Moderate Muslim Brotherhood.” As both narratives supported strategic distractions, the fact that the two came together in...

In his new book “The Last Refuge”, Holocaust survivor and Nobel Prize for Literature Imre Kertész criticized the attempt to replace European culture with mass immigration: “Europe will soon go under because of its previous liberalism which has proven childish and suicidal. Europe produced Hitler, and after Hitler there stands a continent with no arguments: the doors are wide open for Islam; no longer does anyone dare talk about race and religion, while at the same time Islam only knows the language of hatred against all foreign races and religions”. Kertész continues as follows: “I would talk about how Muslims...

An article in The Florida Courier, which labels itself as "Sharing Black Life, Statewide", illustrates that black citizens of the United States' attitudes toward guns and the Second Amendment are changing. Nowhere in the article did I detect a sentiment in favor of more legal restrictions. From fcourier.com: “For the average responsible Black person I believe it is very beneficial to have a CCP. I believe that many Blacks are afraid of guns. The reason is they have never been properly trained on how a firearm works. Once they get that understanding, they are eager to own and carry a...

A great brief history leading to the 14th Amendment including comments from the members of Congress at the time. But unfortunately "the intent of the Citizenship Clause was somewhat mixed, leaving the Supreme Court to determine its construction." However.."The Supreme Court has not directly addressed the question of whether the children of illegal immigrants are eligible for birthright citizenship under the Fourteenth Amendment. In INS v. Rios-Pineda (1985), the Court said in dicta, or language not directly part of the holding in the case, that children born in the United States to illegal immigrants are citizens. 47 The Court did...

There have been some misleading comparisons of "vehicle deaths" and "firearm deaths". The misleading characteristic is to compared vehicle deaths, which are mainly unintentional, with deaths associated with firearms, which are mainly intentional and not accidental. The correct comparison with fatal vehicle crashes would be to fatal firearm accidents. The claim has been made that vehicles have been highly regulated, and that is why the number of fatalities have been reduced, while firearms have not been regulated.

Since when in America is it a right to hit someone's vehicle with a football??? If you move to Hartselle, Alabama it is a right here. Boys playing sports trump any kind of property rights (hitting vehicles and houses, breaking windows, tearing up people's lawns). And don't you dare say anything to the parent as their response is, "Our kids need to get out of the house away from video games and play sports." While I agree with that argument, they don't have to tear up people's property. Last night, I went to the father of a boy who hit...

If you get your news exclusively from BuzzFeed, then today is the first day you've even heard of the Center for Medical Progresses's Planned Parenthood sting videos. Why? Because Planned Parenthood hired someone to try and prove the sting videos were faked in an attempt to discredit CMP. And that's what BuzzFeed reported: image1 First of all, are you sh***ing me? Secondly, this is pure evil. BuzzFeed has taken sides and is...

It’s hard to overstate just how much this would uproot our lives. The lights would of course go out, as would the internet, and any device that draws current from the wall. In places with electronically-controlled municipal water supplies — like most modern cities — toilets and sewage treatment systems would stop working. Heating and air conditioning would fail. Perishable food and medication would be lost. ATMs would be useless. Gas pumps would go offline. And so forth. GPS technology would also be knocked out. Said Grunman, “The GPS system depends on the very precise timing of a course of...

Carol had an abortion in 1973 shortly after the landmark decision for Roe v. Wade. Lured by the substantial income and driven by the subconscious desire to justify her own abortion decision, Carol spent 6 years selling abortions to other women in four abortion clinics in Dallas/Fort Worth. After 35,000 abortions, the death of one woman and surgery on 19 other patients, God brought Carol to a crossroads. Carol's life changed when she came to know the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ in 1983. Carol realized that her work was hurting women, not helping them. Answering God's call,...
