SNIPPET: "Egyptian security forces have reportedly arrested a number of jihadists operating in the Sinai Peninsula who are linked to Ramzi Mowafi, a former physician for Osama bin Laden. Sources have told Egyptian media outlets that Mowafi's group has been responsible for numerous attacks in the Sinai over the past two years. Among those recently arrested are a Yemeni and a Palestinian who were found in the possession of maps and laptops. In August 2011, Egyptian security officials told CNN that Mowafi, who is also thought to be an explosives expert, was spotted in the Sinai. At the time, Mowafi,...

WASHINGTON, Feb. 17 (UPI) — Convicted terrorist Ramzi Yousef filed a lawsuit seeking release from solitary confinement in a high-security U.S. prison. Yousef, 44, has been in solitary for 15 years and said keeping him there indefinitely despite his good behavior amounted to a violation of his due process. A federal judge is expected to rule soon on whether the lawsuit can go to trial, the Los Angeles Times said Sunday. Yousef was sentenced to life in prison for the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center in New York City. Six people were killed and more than 1,000 were...

The CIA has tapes of 9/11 plotter Ramzi Binalshibh being interrogated in a secret overseas prison. Discovered under a desk, the recordings could provide an unparalleled look at how foreign governments aided the U.S. in holding and questioning suspected terrorists. The two videotapes and one audiotape are believed to be the only remaining recordings made within the clandestine prison system. The tapes depict Binalshibh’s interrogation sessions at a Moroccan-run facility the CIA used near Rabat in 2002, several current and former U.S. officials told The Associated Press. They spoke on the condition of anonymity because the recordings remain a closely...

Wake Up, Mr. President! We're In A War Here November 14, 2009 The Obama administra- tion's obdurate refusal to accept the reality of Islam ist terrorism was underscored yet again yesterday when Attorney General Eric Holder announced that 9/11 architect Khalid Sheik Mohammed will be brought to New York to be tried as a common criminal. What an outrage. Mohammed not only admits his role in the worst terrorist attack in American history but actually boasts about it. He should have been stood up in front of a wall and shot years ago. Never mind that the trial of Mohammed...

In case anyone missed it, confessed 9/11 conspirator Ramzi bin al Shibh reminded those watching Monday's hearing that it fell on a major Muslim holy day. And he did it with a grisly salute to his spiritual leader -- al Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden, still at-large. Bin al Shibh, a Yemeni, blurted out his well wishes ''to the entire Muslim world,'' in honor of Eid al Adha, the Feast of the Sacrifice -- and especially to ``Osama bin Laden, may God protect him.'' ''I hope the jihad continues and strikes the heart of America with all kinds of weapons...
