A mob of Black Lives Matter demonstrators berated and threatened a Fox News reporter in St. Paul, Minn., when the reporter asked the protestors why they were blocking a highway on July 9. “Get the f… out of here,” the lead organizer frantically chanted into the face of the stunned reporter, who politely defended himself by saying, “I asked you… [to] tell me why you are here.” The demonstrators pushed up against the reporter, forcing him backwards towards the protection of police, while another person seems to say “we’re going to knock his ass out.” (snip) The St. Paul organizer...

On non-lethal uses of force, blacks and Hispanics are more than fifty percent more likely to experience some form of force in interactions with police. Adding controls that account for important context and civilian behavior reduces, but cannot fully explain, these disparities. On the most extreme use of force – officer-involved shootings – we find no racial differences in either the raw data or when contextual factors are taken into account.

Just wait. In the fullness of time, Donald J. Trump will be blamed for “creating the atmosphere” that led to the Texas cop massacre of July 7. However, at least by the same standards applied to Mr. Trump, Barack Obama should be fingered for encouraging Micah Xavier Johnson to “shoot a dozen Dallas police officers, killing five.” Helped by his cabbie, Gates was seen forcing the front door to his home. To their detriment, Sgt. James Crowley and Officer James Figueroa rushed to the rescue, only to be cursed out by Gates on arrival for their alleged racial bias. Obama...

CNN political commentator and HuffPo Live host Marc Lamont Hill opined Monday that black people cannot be racist because they lack the “institutional power” required to “deploy racism.” Hill was asked to respond to comments made by former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani calling the Black Lives Matter movement racist. “First of all, by the way, Black Lives Matter and the movement for black lives this morning issued a pledge which I tweeted out today calling for justice, calling for peace, and calling for togetherness in a moment where we’re attempting to be divided,” Hill said. vlcsnap-2016-07-11-12h38m43s587CNN political commentator and...

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — A Florida congresswoman indicted on fraud charges is telling supporters she’s being “persecuted” by federal authorities because she’s black. U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown, D-Fla., and her chief of staff pleaded not guilty after being indicted last week on multiple fraud charges and other federal offenses.

DALLAS (AP) -- Military service changed the Dallas gunman from an extrovert into a hermit, his parents said in an interview excerpt published Monday. Micah Johnson's mother, Delphine Johnson, told TheBlaze website in an interview that her son wanted to be a police officer as a child. His six years in the Army Reserve, including a tour in Afghanistan, were "not what Micah thought it would be ... what he thought the military represented, it just didn't live up to his expectations."

DPD chief: "The suspect said he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers." President Obama said at a Saturday press conference in Poland that it is "very hard to untangle the motives" of the shooter in Dallas who killed five police officers Thursday evening.

Protests have continued in the United States, after violent incidents involving African American people and the police last week. On Sunday, dozens of protesters were arrested in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where a black man was killed by police last Tuesday. In an atmosphere of heightened racial tension, and amid growing debate over the seeming militarisation of American police, one photo has stood out. It was taken by Jonathan Bachman, a New Orleans-based photographer who has been working for Reuters in the past few days. The image shows a young woman in a dress standing calmly in front of two police...

After he murdered five Dallas police officers and wounded seven others, Micah Johnson kept a SWAT team at bay for more than three hours. As they tried to talk him into surrendering, he told them that he wanted to kill white people, especially white policemen. Johnson’s horrific attack on police is the most recent evidence of one of the worst divisions in our society, that between law enforcement people and the civilians they are sworn to protect. That division has been created and is exacerbated daily by President Obama and the rest of the pure-as-ivory-soap ideological liberals he has led...

Is U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch coordinating with Black Lives Matter activists to disrupt the upcoming Republican and Democratic National Conventions so that martial law will be declared and the elections suspended/indefinitely postponed? This allegation is the subject of hundreds of articles regarding a series of purported direct messages between three leading Black Lives Matter activists. The messages claim the endorsement and support of U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch. Their alleged goal, as stated in the messages, is to cancel the Presidential election and keep Barack Obama in office, while also giving him a justification to attempt a declaration of...

Omowale was speaking in an interview set to air Sunday night on this reporter’s talk radio program, “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio,” broadcast on New York’s AM 970 The Answer and News Talk 990 AM in Philadelphia. Omowale used the interview to claim five states as belonging to the “Black Nation”: Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Alabama, and Georgia. The revolutionary stated: “We just need to start migrating back to those states and taking control of the economics in those states. If black people move in, most definitely white people will move out. So it’s not a hard process for us to...

The Rev. Al Sharpton challenged the National Rifle Association to defend the gun rights of two black men killed in police encounters last week in Louisiana and Minnesota. The victims - Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, respectively - were carrying guns when they were approached by police officers and shot. Video of the incidents sparked protests around the country last week. "Both of them were killed by police based on 'they had a gun,'" Sharpton said at his weekly rally in Harlem. "Now I missed the NRA coming out and defending the gun rights they legally had. Where is the...

Hint: Her first name is Hillary. See this earlier announcement via the New York Times: "Mrs. Clinton will be in Pennsylvania, with Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., at events that will touch on the police-related deaths of Alton B. Sterling in Louisiana and Philando Castile in Minnesota, as protests raged in Chicago and New York."Mrs. Clinton, who is seeking to reassemble President Obama’s winning coalition amid the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement, has made criminal justice overhaul a hallmark of her campaign."Poor Hillary. She was all set to pander once again to the Black vote while attacking...

During a Sunday morning interview with CBS's John Dickerson, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson stated though Dallas shooter Micah Johnson told hostage negotiators he "wanted to kill white people, especially white police officers," "it's still relatively early" to qualify his actions as a hate crime. "You said there's no link to a terrorist organization here, but the shooting in Dallas was by any definition terrorism and a hate crime, wasn’t it?" posed Dickerson. "Well, there's still an investigation being conducted by the Dallas police department and the FBI supported by many resources from the local government and the federal...

In January, 2016...an Ithaca (NY) Black Lives Matter rally over the death of Sandra Bland and others set up a procedure to segregate speakers by race, with “people of color” being given priority over whites... The segregation of speakers just happened again, at a rally on July 8, 2016, with non-people of color speakers told to sit at the back of the speakers’ line... About 400 people marched from the Southside Community Center to the Ithaca Commons Friday night and called for an end to systemic racism and police killing black people. What you are about to watch is a sad old liberal white grandmother who is losing all ability to think with common sense. Hillary Clinton's ignorance on race issues just took a front line approach with this interview. This is just more encouragement to continue conflict between people instead of encouraging everyone to get along. If everyone got along, that wouldn't fit into her plans with Barack Obama to cause so much chaos they have to declare martial law to control everyone. Why do these White Liberals feel the need to patronize me because I am Black? Like whites, all...

Dallas. The name was already a byword for political violence before Thursday’s massacre – the place where Lee Harvey Oswald shot John F Kennedy in 1963 and shattered America’s post-war innocence. Now, five local policemen lie dead, killed while serving their community. Others fight for their lives. The bloodshed at what was supposed to be a peaceful rally on Thursday night was plainly a hate crime. But how do we define this hate? Was this an act of terrorism, an assault inspired by racial tensions, or both? Whatever the motives behind this madness, race is back at the top of...
