Organizers of the Baltimore Book Festival have disinvited Rachel Dolezal, the white woman who led others to believe she was black. The decision Tuesday by the Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts came days after defending its choice to have her there. Dolezal recently published a memoir, “In Full Color: Finding My Place in a Black and White World.”

The first ever full-genome analysis of Ancient Egyptians shows they were more Turkish and European than African. Scientists analysed ancient DNA from Egyptian mummies dating from 1400 BC to 400 AD and discovered they shared genes with people from the Mediterranean. They found that ancient Egyptians were closely related to ancient populations in the Levant - now modern day Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Israel and Lebanon. They were also genetically similar to Neolithic populations from the Anatolian Peninsula and Europe. The groundbreaking study used recent advances in DNA sequencing techniques to undertake a closer examination of mummy genetics than ever before.

Earlier in the month, my high-school alma mater in the prosperous Montgomery County suburbs of Philadelphia went viral. A video of a student brawl injuring four security officers and eight teachers appeared on YouTube, bolstering long-whispered rumors of the district’s decline. Four students were taken into custody; one of them, 18 and charged as an adult for four counts of aggravated assault, is still in jail as I write. All four of the students were black females.

Best selling author Anthony Horowitz has revealed that he was ‘warned off’ including a black character in a new book – because it would be ‘inappropriate’ for a white writer to do so. Speaking to today’s Event magazine, Horowitz – creator of the Alex Rider spy novels – says he was ‘upset and disturbed’ when an editor told him that devising black characters could be interpreted as ‘patronising’.

Alt-Right leader and White Supremacist Richard Spencer led a torch-wielding mob crying 'Russia is our friend' and 'You Will not replace us', in protest of the removal of a controversial statue of the pro-slavery Civil War general Robert E. Lee. The marchers showed up in their dozens at the park in Charlottesville, Virginia, where the monument is on display, on Saturday at 9pm, the Daily Progress reported. But only ten minutes into the protest, police were called because of an altercation among some of the marchers, forcing the demonstrators to scatter.

About five female students were reportedly attacked in the incident that occurred on Tuesday.

If progressives believe gender is fluid, then why not race? Philosophy professor Rebecca Tuvel touched off a firestorm of controversy this week with her paper “In Defense of Transracialism,” published in the feminist journal Hypatia. In it, Professor Tuvel argues that we ought to support those who identify with a racial group other than the one into which they were born just as we support transgender people.

Charles Barkley, who caught some heat in 2014 for calling rioters in Ferguson, Mo., “scumbags,” might not be everyone’s go-to guy to talk about race, much less to spark a national dialogue on the subject. But the former Sixers great and Inside the NBA analyst will be talking plenty – and listening, too — in his four-hour docu-series, American Race. (When the show was first announced last summer, its working title was The Race Card.) The first episode gets a preview after NBA playoff coverage Sunday (11:30 p.m., TNT). On Monday, all four episodes will be available on demand, or on...

Some colleges now have "men's centers," which sounds like a good way for college men to discuss issues that impact men alone -- such as rampant Title IX abuse. Nope. These "men's centers" are just yet another means of indoctrinating young men with radical feminist, Leftist lunacy. A prime example is below. A post on the University of Oregon's Men's Center's Facebook page argues that white men cannot be the victims of racism or sexism:

Article said Caitlyn Jenner used to be ‘Bruce,’ and that is ‘violence’ As we have documented before, all ideologies must fall before the gospel of transgenderism, even feminism. A journal of feminist philosophy, Hypatia, has issued an apology for publishing an article that compares transracial identity to transgender identity, following an outcry by pro-transgender philosophers.

Getting diagnosed with cancer was “horrific” enough. But discovering that very few African American women like herself were enrolled in clinical trials to find a cure? That was almost as distressing for Tammie Denyse, a longtime breast cancer survivor in Sacramento. In a 2011 report, the Food and Drug Administration noted that blacks were 12 percent of the population but only 5 percent of clinical trial participants; Hispanics, at 16 percent of the population, represented only 1 percent. By being underrepresented in clinical trials, women and ethnic minorities can be at a huge health disadvantage when it comes to finding...

A geology professor at Pomona College says she will prioritize students of color, immigrants, and low-income students for enrollment in a class with a strict 15-student cap. A flyer advertising the course on “Southern California Earthquakes and Water,” an introductory geological science class with a particular focus on “the particular geologic challenges” of Southern California, expresses a particular desire for “students from a range of backgrounds whose varied perspectives will contribute to the course.”

Georgetown Professor Michael Eric Dyson prescribes a paralyzing pill to African-Americans. Michael Eric Dyson is the University Professor of Sociology at Georgetown University. One website listed the average tenured professor's 2012 salary at Georgetown at $167,000, three times the median US income. No doubt a professor occupying an elevated position such as Dyson's, in 2017, earns more. Dyson received his PhD from Princeton, ranked by US News as the best American university, beating out Harvard. Dyson is the author of five bestselling books and the recipient of numerous awards. His three children have six degrees including from Ivy League schools....
