President Donald Trump questioned House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s dubious participation in stock market initial public offering shares, enriching her family. The president shared a clip Monday highlighting a CBS 60 Minutes report featuring author and Breitbart senior contributor Peter Schweizer’s investigation into Pelosi and her husband participating in at least eight different stock IPOs while in Congress. 60 Minutes reporter Steve Kroft confronted Pelosi on the topic in 2011, but she denied any impropriety. The report noted that Pelosi and her husband participated in an initial public offering of Visa in 2008, while credit card regulation was underway in the...

President Trump on Wednesday claimed in a series of tweets that it was House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, not him, who suffered a “meltdown!” at an earlier White House meeting on Syria. Trump sent out three tweets with photos from the gathering, blasting Pelosi and Sen. Chuck Schumer, who stormed out of the meeting and claimed the president called Pelosi “a third-rate politician.” In the first photo shared by Trump, which focuses in on the two lawmakers, the president wrote, “The Do Nothing Democrats, Pelosi and Schumer stormed out of the Cabinet Room!”

President Trump on Wednesday blasted Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) following a heated meeting at the White House, questioning her mental fitness and commitment to the country. "Nancy Pelosi needs help fast! There is either something wrong with her 'upstairs,' or she just plain doesn’t like our great Country," Trump tweeted. "She had a total meltdown in the White House today," he continued. "It was very sad to watch. Pray for her, she is a very sick person!" Pelosi's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment. SNIP

Full title: What a Head Scratcher: Biden Lectures Crowd About Not Getting 'Do-Overs When It Comes to National Security' 1:40 min. Video at link. Former Vice President Joe Biden on Wednesday lectured Iowa voters about the dangers of making the wrong decisions when it comes to international relations, saying there's no "do-overs when it comes to national security." "All the consequences I’ve mentioned, every single one can be laid at the feet of Donald Trump. You know, he green-lighted Turkish invasion. Now he’s left asking Turkey to stop it. But the damage is done," Biden explained to the crowd. "You...

The deployment of troops allied with the Yemeni government comes a day after it denied that a deal would soon be inked with separatists that would allow the cabinet to retake its interim seat in Aden. The reinforcements have been stationed west of the key port city between the Aden airport and...

As the Voice of America itself reported on January 23, Erdogan's plan was to resettle three million or more refugees from other parts of Syria in this "security zone" extending twenty miles deep into Syria. Twenty miles may not sound much, but – the VOA omitted to mention – almost all the Kurdish towns of northeastern Syria lie within that area. So Erdogan's intention to annihilate the Kurdish presence in that area and replace it with others has been manifest ever since the beginning of 2019. A whole series of Trump's Republican supporters in the Senate expressed outrage over his...

In a bipartisan rebuke to President Donald Trump, the US House of Representatives has overwhelmingly passed a resolution condemning his decision to pull United States troops out of Syria, abandoning US allies in the region as Turkish troops have moved in. The 354-60 vote on the resolution Wednesday was largely symbolic, but it signaled the widespread disapproval among lawmakers for Trump’s latest controversial foreign policy move. It came as fighting continued in northeastern Syria between Turkey and Kurdish fighters, who have been a key US ally in fighting the terror group ISIS.

Minutes before a small group of key lawmakers were scheduled to discuss the sudden withdrawal of all U.S. troops from northern Syria with President Donald Trump, 129 House Republicans broke ranks and voted Wednesday to rebuke decision. The move to cross party lines and vote with Democrats to condemn the overseas directive showed the overwhelming bipartisan opposition and frustration with Trump for wanting to remove personnel from the Middle Eastern region as Turkey takes military action against Syrian Kurdish forces. The Kurds are American allies who the U.S. has fought alongside for years in an effort to eradicate ISIS from...

Rand Paul sharply criticized fellow Senate Republican Lindsey Graham for suggesting that U.S. troops should remain in northern Syria. "Lindsey Graham has been wrong about almost every foreign policy decision of the last two decades," the Kentucky senator said during a Tuesday morning appearance on MSNBC. "He was wrong about the Iraq War. The Iraq War was a mistake. It made Iran stronger, allowed more chaos, more instability, and more terrorism. He was wrong about the war in Libya. It lead to more chaos and more terrorism. He is wrong about this." Paul was referring to tweets from the South...

Russia has stationed troops between the Syrian army and Turkish forces in an attempt to prevent fresh clashes in northern Syria. Moscow said its soldiers are now patrolling land outside the flashpoint city of Manbij, which was taken over by Syrian government forces on Tuesday, to prevent an anticipated Turkish attack. Russia, which backs the Syrian government, said 'no one is interested' in fighting between Syrian government troops and Turkish forces and that Moscow 'is not going to allow it.'

An increased American military presence in Saudi Arabia creates a "magnet" for Islamic extremism in the region, and presents an open target for radical jihadists, said Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., during a Sunday television interview. Paul expressed dismay at President Trump's decision to send 2,800 more American soldiers to Saudi Arabia after their old fields were attacked, during an interview on "Meet the Press." He claimed the Saudis need to change their attitude before they can expect financial and military support from the United States. "I’m not [comfortable with it]," Paul said. "I would withhold troops and arms from the...

The Kurds should thank the short-sighted strategists of the DNC for Turkish aggression. Hong Kong residents are also paying for the short-sighted policies of the American Left, who, for the past three years, have been trying to expel the legally elected president from the White House. Their (untrue) signal that Trump is about to be overthrown has been heard both in Beijing and in Ankara. But Turkey made a serious mistake – they attacked civilians. Of course, television footage of these crimes and further bullying of civilians by Turkish troops in Northern Syria cannot be compared with what the Russian...

On Monday, ABC News got caught lying about having a video allegedly showing Turkish troops slaughtering Kurdish civilians in northern Syria, when, in fact, it was video from a gun range in Kentucky. Seemingly thinking a pair of weak apologies on Twitter were enough, the liberal broadcast network refused to correct the record and inform viewers on their journalistic malpractice during that evening’s World News Tonight. As NewsBusters’s Kristine Marsh reported, Sunday’s World News Tonight teed up the contents of the video as being a product of President Trump’s foreign policy, declaring, “This video right here appearing to be showing...

The UK will not join other European countries such as France, Germany, the Netherlands and Finland in halting selling arms to Turkey after its invasion in Syria, the Independent reports. The UK was initially also against an EU condemnation of Turkey's military attack, but later agreed to the EU's unanimous position. Because of the UK's refusal to a European arms ban, the EU agreed on stopping arms sales unilaterally.

Moscow, October 13, Interfax - A new Syrian constitution being drafted now must guarantee interests of all ethnic and religious groups living in the country, Russian President Vladimir Putin said. "People need to know that they live in their own country and that it protects them by law. This must be equally true for Sunnis and Shia, for Alawites and Christians," Putin said in an interview with RT Arabic, Sky News, and Al Arabiya, posted on the Kremlin website. President Trump has played this out perfectly. By isolating Turkish President Recep Erdogan, and effectively leaving him naked to an alliance of his enemies, Erdogan is now urgently asking for the U.S. to mediate peace negotiations with Kurdish forces. This request happens immediately after President Trump signed an executive order [See Here] triggering the sanction authority of Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin. Erdogan called the White House requesting an urgent phone call with President Trump. After President Trump talked to Kurdish General Mazloum Kobani Abdi, the commander of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces, President Trump then discussed the options available to...

Donald Trump, an ongoing eruption of self-refuting statements (“I’m a very stable genius” with “a very good brain”), is adding self-impeachment to his repertoire. Spiraling downward in a tightening gyre, his increasingly unhinged public performances (Google the one with Finland’s dumbfounded president looking on) are as alarming as they are embarrassing. His decision regarding Syria and the Kurds was made so flippantly that it has stirred faint flickers of thinking among Congress’ vegetative Republicans.
