OAKLAND (CBS SF) – The Alameda County District Attorney has dropped charges against 14 Black Lives Matter protesters who disrupted BART service on the day after Thanksgiving in 2014. BERKELEY (CBS SF) — Berkeley police Thursday said they have arrested an Oakland man in a hammer attack that occurred during a series of protests in December. The alleged assault occurred on Dec. 7, 2014, when the victim, a 55-year-old man, attempted to stop some protesters from damaging a Radio Shack store at Shattuck Avenue and Dwight Way, according to police.
