Six LGBT activists have found a way to fly the Pride flag in Russia - by wearing football shirts in the rainbow colours. The country has had a law banning the spreading of "gay propaganda" among under-18s since 2013. The Pride flag is a symbol celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities, but displaying it in Russia can get you arrested. The group got together and wore their nations' football tops around Moscow. It meant the shirts of Spain, the Netherlands (who weren't in the World Cup), Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Colombia collectively made the colours of the stripes of...

Walking around Manhattan during the month of June, Rainbow Pride flags are on display everywhere. In the windows of large chain stores and banks, as well as small eateries and bars. Williams Sonoma had a display of dishes in their window that represented the Rainbow Pride flag colors. Zara clothing store was selling men's tank tops that look like they were specially designed to replicate the exact shades of each of the Rainbow Pride flag colors. They all hung from a rack in the designated order of colors, approximating the flag. Last night, Madison Square Garden was lit up in...

7-year-old trans child Milan Tyler won the Los Angeles Pride Parade with a fierce strut in heels on the streets of West Hollywood, California, on June 10. Thousands cheered on participants at this year’s parade for LGBT Pride Month in June, and Tyler received some of the biggest support. “I’m not deciding what my kid wants to wear and how to behave when it comes to the things he likes,” his mother Maggi said. Tyler was born Ryder but recently asked to be called Milan instead. His mother and sister London were asked to attend the parade by Brits...

The five flag poles that line the entrance sidewalk to the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System at 2121 Lake Ave. typically fly flags of the country's five branches of military: Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Coast Guard. On Tuesday, through, those flags were taken down and just one was flown in their place: an LGBT pride flag. -snip The VA Northern Indiana Healthcare System issued the following statement: "Logistically, we could not add a flag without removing a flag from the poles outside our VA. Rather than single out one military branch's flag to be temporarily replaced with the LGBT flag, we...

McCabe hit back in a fiery response of his own. "This attack on my credibility is one part of a larger effort not just to slander me personally, but to taint the FBI, law enforcement, and intelligence professionals more generally," McCabe said. "It is part of this Administration’s ongoing war on the FBI and the efforts of the Special Counsel investigation, which continue to this day. Their persistence in this campaign only highlights the importance of the Special Counsel’s work."

The Twelve Steps of Pride Msgr. Charles Pope • March 12, 2018 • If you think the idea of “Twelve Steps” is new, go back and see how the Greeks put it, or in this case how the medieval Latins put it. St. Bernard of Clairvaux identified twelve steps up the mountain of pride in his 12th century work The Steps of Humility and Pride. In today’s post, we focus on the twelve steps of pride, and tomorrow we’ll tackle the twelve steps of humility. The list below is from St. Bernard, but the commentary is mine.Notices how the twelve...

The Seven Deadly Sins: Pride Msgr. Charles Pope • February 21, 2018 • Pride is a sin that is so pervasive, runs so deep within us, that we often don’t even sense it is there. Not only is it a sinful drive in itself, it also plays a role in every other sin we commit. Pride is the sin we most share with Satan and the fallen angels. Satan refused to serve God or to submit to His plan; these are strong tendencies in every human person as well. Satan planned his strategy well as he tempted Eve. You...

Korea Doesn't Need Chinese Tourists December 22, 2017 13:24 China's National Tourism Administration summoned travel agents from Shandong Province this week and informed them that it has again banned package tours to Korea effective January next year. The same seems to be happening in Beijing. China imposed the ban on cut-price group tours to Korea in March this year in retaliation against the U.S. deployment of a Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense battery here, but it partially eased the ban for Shandong Province and Beijing on Nov. 28 after the two countries agreed to normalize ties. Now, just six days after...

An email (image below) sent by the Commander and Public Affairs Office of a U.S. Department of Defense installation. Sent to several thousand employees and contractors. July is "LGBT Pride Month" throughout the DoD, but note that here is a case of a local military installation taking proactive interest, of its own voilition, in celebrating the unhealthy and relatively dysfunctional conditions of lesbianism, homosexuality, gay, transgender, and queer. This command has celebrated "LGBT Pride Month" for the past several years.

In nothing short of a travesty and insult to the pro-Palestinian mindset of a new generation, three gay Jews marched in last weekend’s Dyke March carrying a pride flag emblazoned with the Star of David. A glaring mistake as Israel is frowned upon in modern-day American culture. As is in today’s new “anything goes but being a pro-Israel Jew” atmosphere, the miscreants were kicked to the curb by the event organizers because the Star of David “made people feel unsafe.” Surely one would think this gay pride group thought in advance to stock and supply the necessary items to alleviate...

Hillary Clinton gave voice Wednesday to a question on the minds of many of her fiercest advocates in her race against the controversy-prone Donald Trump: Why isn’t she way, way ahead? The Democratic nominee raised the issue here during an address via video conference to a gathering in Las Vegas of the Laborers' International Union of North America. The former secretary of state ticked off her pro-union positions... ...“Having said all this, ‘Why aren’t I 50 points ahead?’ you might ask?” Clinton said. “Well, the choice for working families has never been clearer.
