November 12, 2015 Memorial of Saint Josaphat, Bishop and Martyr Reading 1 Wis 7:22b–8:1 In Wisdom is a spiritintelligent, holy, unique,Manifold, subtle, agile, clear, unstained, certain,Not baneful, loving the good, keen, unhampered, beneficent, kindly,Firm, secure, tranquil,all-powerful, all-seeing,And pervading all spirits, though they be intelligent, pure and very subtle. For Wisdom is mobile beyond all motion, and she penetrates and pervades all things by reason of her purity. For she is an aura of the might of Godand a pure effusion of the glory of the Almighty;therefore nought that is sullied enters into her.For she is the refulgence of eternal light, the spotless mirror of the power of...

Hi y'all. I believe in the power of prayer, have seen God work in ways we can't imagine through the power of praying people. I am asking for some tonight. Today, my doctor found a 3 centimeter tumor. While it's highly likely to be benign, he wants immediate testing. Even if benign, it could still require surgery. So I'm asking for prayers, good thoughts and a favorable outcome. Regardless of how it turns out, I know Jesus has me in the palm of His hands. Thanks, DallasGal

November 10, 2015 Memorial of Saint Leo the Great, Pope and Doctor of the Church Reading 1 Wis 2:23–3:9 God formed man to be imperishable;the image of his own nature he made them. But by the envy of the Devil, death entered the world, and they who are in his possession experience it. But the souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them. They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead;and their passing away was thought an afflictionand their going forth from us, utter destruction. But they are in peace. For if before...

As Thou dost have invincible might, free us from all misfortunes and sorrowful circumstances who cry aloud: Rejoice, O Virgin Theotokos, full of Grace, Joy of all who sorrow! God wants his children healed and not only that, but you have a right to be healed. If you look in the book of Luke in chapter 13 you will see that Jesus was teaching when he saw a woman bowed over and he said to her, "Woman thou art loosed from thine infirmity" and he laid his hands on her and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. And the leaders of the synagogue was upset because he healed her on the sabbath, but look at Jesus response, "And ought not this women, being a daughter of Abraham,...

11/5 - Although the results are preliminary, all of Sawyer's bone marrow results were NEGATIVE!!!!!!!!!! We can't even begin to describe our elation at this news!! We're currently waiting on an ultrasound, but otherwise they kept their promise to us and left Sawyer alone for the day. Tomorrow, she'll resume being a "pin cushion" as Brent says, and have her blood drawn. We're not sure of what else is in store, but we're feeling up right now. We're definitely here until Tuesday as they are going to run the antibiotics for 14 days. Until then and after, who knows, but...
