Here’s Donald Trump’s response to Bobby Jindal calling him a “narcissist,” an “egomaniac,” and “a carnival act,” among other things, in a speech this morning. He did not make the debate stage and therefore I have never met him. I only respond to people that register more than 1% in the polls. I never thought he had a chance and I’ve been proven right.

Republican presidential candidate and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush stated the US should accept refugees from the Middle East and Africa, but “make sure” they’re not terrorists on Wednesday’s “Fox & Friends” on the Fox News Channel. Jeb said, [relevant remarks begin around 6:40] “We should accept — we’re a country that has a noble tradition of accepting refugees.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Tuesday said he would be open to the United States accepting more refugees from Syria, after a photo of a drowned three-year-old Syrian boy sparked international outrage last week. "Sure. Absolutely," Graham told reporters Tuesday evening when asked whether he would back allowing more Syrian refugees to come to the United States.

Barvetta Singletary, special assistant to President of the United States Barack Obama, has resigned from office after firing a stolen police weapon at a Capitol Police officer in a jealous rage.

As Europe grapples with the mass migration of more than 300,000 refugees fleeing war in Syria, Republican presidential candidate Scott Walker won’t say whether the United States should open its doors to absorb more of the migrants. Walker’s reason for not taking a stand is that he says it would be hypothetical for him to do so since he is not currently the president. “I'm not president today and I can't be president today,” the Republican presidential candidate and Wisconsin governor said when asked by ABC News during a press gaggle on Monday what he would to address the current...

Jeb Bush became Stephen Colbert's first political guest on the brand new 'Late Show' and used the appearance to promise civility – just hours after Donald Trump hit Bush again for being so boring that he puts people to sleep. 'We have to restore a degree of civility,' Bush said. When Colbert, who told Bush he 'used to play a narcissistic conservative pundit' but now was 'just a narcissist,' didn't think it could be done, Bush pointed to President Barack Obama as proof it was possible.

As far as hiking buddies go, Barack Obama and Bear Grylls make for an unlikely pairing. Grylls is a TV outdoorsman with a flair for drama and a propensity for drinking his own urine. Obama is cerebral and stolidly even-keeled, and, you know, the president of the United States. Nevertheless, the strange duo is slated for some bonding Tuesday while hiking the Exit Glacier, a south Alaskan river of ice that has shrunk by 1.25 miles in recent decades. They have no plans to drink urine, Grylls has confirmed, and the adventurer’s usually madcap exploits will be scaled down to...

On Tuesday's broadcast of FOX News' Hannity, pollster Frank Luntz revealed presidential candidate Donald Trump was the first person to ever score a perfect 100 during one of his focus groups.

She has announced her intention to ‘shuffle the pack’ to help the beleaguered middle classes but when it comes to Hillary Clinton’s own fundraising efforts the deck seems pretty firmly stacked in favor of the rich and powerful. These exclusive pictures taken by Daily Mail Online show guests arriving at the Water Mill, Long Island home of Selma and Artie Rabin who hosted a fundraiser for Mrs Clinton on Saturday evening. Rabin is an apparel company magnate and the co-owner of the Brooklyn Nets basketball team. Mrs Clinton arrived first with her entourage in a blacked out SUV that turned...

During a town hall event yesterday in Salem, New Hampshire, Ohio Gov. John Kasich took a question from an attendee about Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court ruling that created a constitutional right to abortion. Kasich’s answer, which appeared to affirm the court ruling, will likely complicate his bid to woo pro-life voters who are already skeptical of his anti-abortion bona fides.

There is an obvious subtext to the panicked effort to purge the GOP of Donald Trump: to allow the party’s true hero to emerge to vanquish Hillary Clinton and restore peace and justice throughout the land. To most GOP elites, of course, the savior is Jeb Bush, complete with the Clark Kent glasses and aw-shucks good guy demeanor. The Chamber of Commerce crowd is so convinced that Jeb is the man that it (so far) has placed a bet of more than $100 million on that proposition. There’s just one problem—the Clintons want Jeb Bush to be the GOP nominee,...

The super-PAC supporting Jeb Bush’s presidential bid will spend $10 million on television advertisements in the first three primary states, the group’s first major ad buy with its gigantic war chest. Super-PAC officials told The Associated Press that the ads in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina will run from September through the remainder of the calendar year. Iowa kicks off the presidential nominating season on Feb. 1, with the other states following close behind.

Boy, is it! Hillary Clinton didn’t learn from her emoji campaign crash and burn last week, evidently, and is continuing her quest for the most pitiful Twitter feed ever. Here’s her latest mind-boggling reason why you should vote for her:

Lefty media (both overt and covert), which has been back on its heels lately thanks to Hillary’s impending arrest and prosecution, is already buzzing about the line quoted above, uttered today by Bush in Iowa. Skip to 9:40 of the clip below for the question and his answer in full. On the one hand, I’m reluctant to clobber a guy for a poorly worded soundbite when, as here, it’s in service to a sound point, that Obama and Hillary wasted the security improvements in Iraq circa 2009 by bringing everyone home and then standing around while Maliki fostered sectarian war....

Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the annual conservative RedState Gathering, where nine Republican presidential candidates gave fiery speeches. Although all were very impressive speakers, I kept applying the “Buckley rule” — these days, generally thought of as “nominate the most conservative candidate who is electable” — and did not feel confident that any of them could actually win the White House in 2016.

Supporters of Al Gore have begun a round of conversations among themselves and with the former vice president about his running for president in 2016, the latest sign that top Democrats have serious doubts that Hillary Clinton is a sure thing. Gore, 67, won the popular vote in the 2000 election, and has been mentioned as a possible candidate in every contested Democratic primary since then. He instead spent much of the 2000s focused on environmental campaigning and business ventures. He has largely slipped out of public view more recent years. But in recent days, “they’re getting the old gang...

It’s finally happened. Someone has started a new Downfall meme from a different scene, and just in time. I’ve had something like this in mind for quite a while, but haven’t had time to get it together. (I’ve also got scenes from two other film clips in mind; some day.)

Donald Trump kicks over the money changer tables in the temple in Jerusalem, and throws tea into Boston Harbor. Revolutions. How times have we heard that revolutions have been carried out for less than what Washington has forced on us? The organization that is nominally on our side is just as corrupt. Donald Trump is the revolution. He must go after the nearby corruption before tackling the state, just as Jesus the Jew attacked his priests before taking on Rome. Our founding fathers had to deal with colonial loyalists, while fighting the British. Revolutions are messy, difficult to watch. The...

At the inaugural GOP presidential debate, a swing-state governor with a record of reforms and a message of economic mobility made his mark. Entering the debate stage to loud applause, the experienced GOP executive touted his brand of compassionate conservatism. He disarmed skeptics of his free-wheeling speaking style, coming prepared with crisp talking points advocating his governing record. That governor wasn't former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. It was current Ohio Gov. John Kasich. "Kasich is killing it. Hopeful. Uplifting. Optimistic. And he has an appeal to those who think the GOP doesn't care," tweeted Ari Fleischer, former spokesman for George...

Ohio Gov. John Kasich's meteoric rise in New Hampshire continues, as a new poll from Gravis Marketing shows the governor has moved into second place behind Donald Trump. Kasich began moving up in New Hampshire even before he formally launched his presidential campaign and his climb in the polls has yet to slow down.
