  • Former U. of Arizona prof: We must destroy modern civilization to save Earth from global warming

A former professor at the University of Arizona is so convinced that global warming is ruining Earth that he’s proposing a desperate plan to save the world: Destroy human civilization as we know it. Guy McPherson, who left academia in 2009 for “ethical reasons,” says humanity will be extinct by 2030 no matter what we do, so for the sake of the other species on Earth, we must “terminate industrial civilization” and abandon the modern technology that gives us electricity, worldwide mobility, clean drinking water, and medical care; to say nothing of the creature comforts of modern life. “I think...
  • Population controls 'will not solve environment issues'

    10/27/2014 5:33:34 PM PDT · by traumer · 22 replies
Restricting population growth will not solve global issues of sustainability in the short term, new research says. A worldwide one-child policy would mean the number of people in 2100 remained around current levels, according to a study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Even a catastrophic event that killed billions of people would have little effect on the overall impact, it said. There may be 12 billion humans on Earth by 2100, latest projections suggest. Concerns about the impact of people on the planet's resources have been growing, especially if the population continues to increase. 'Can't...

Submitted by Brandon Smith of Alt-Market.com, One of the most dangerous philosophical contentions even amongst liberty movement activists is the conundrum of government force and prevention during times of imminent pandemic. All of us at one time or another have had this debate. If a legitimate viral threat existed and threatened to infect and kill millions of Americans, is it then acceptable for the government to step in, remove civil liberties, enforce quarantines, and stop people from spreading the disease? After all, during a viral event, the decisions of each individual can truly have a positive or negative effect on...
  • Official WHO Ebola toll near 5,000 with true number nearer 15,000

At least 4,877 people have died in the world's worst recorded outbreak of Ebola, and at least 9,936 cases of the disease had been recorded as of Oct. 19, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Wednesday, but the true toll may be three times as much. The WHO has said real numbers of cases are believed to be much higher than reported: by a factor of 1.5 in Guinea, 2 in Sierra Leone and 2.5 in Liberia, while the death rate is thought to be about 70 percent of all cases. That would suggest a toll of almost 15,000.

Yeah this new Ebola Czar appears more and more to be a ‘perfect’ pick. He said this in 2008 when asked what the top leadership issue challenging our world today: “I think the top leadership challenge issue in our world today is how to deal with the continuing, growing population in the world and all the resource demands it places on the world and burgeoning populations in Africa and Asia that lack the resources to have a healthy, happy life,” Klain said.“We’ve got to find a way to make the world work for everyone,” Klain said. “Climate change is...

Dear Dr. Eric R. Pianka I am writing to you in regards to the speech you made at the 109th meeting of the Texas Academy of Science at Lamar University in Beaumont on 3-5 March 2006 in which you advocated the reduction of the earths population by 90%. The idea of reducing the earths population by 90% has stimulated my mind and I wish to add the following thoughts on the issue: You said your favorite candidate for eliminating 90 percent of the world's population is airborne Ebola ( Ebola Reston ), because it is both highly lethal and it...

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The first case of Ebola transmitted between patients in America has experts across the country reviewing safety protocols. At Purdue University, Dr. David Sanders has been studying the virus since 2003 – specifically how this particular Zaire strain of Ebola enters human cells. While the virus has thus far only been shown to be transferred via bodily fluids, Sanders argues that it could become airborne. "It can enter the lung from the airway side," Sanders said. "So this argues that Ebola is primed to have respiratory transmission. "We need to be taking this into consideration," he...

Add Chris Brown to the list of celebrity conspiracy theorists. The troubled R&B star offered his personal insight into the Ebola outbreak, writing on Twitter, "I don't know ... But I think this Ebola epidemic is a form of population control. "S--t is getting crazy bruh." Brown, who served 108 days in jail earlier this year for violating his probation related to his conviction of felony assault against Rihanna, seemed to rethink sharing his opinion, posting soon after, "Let me shut my black ass up!"

The woman on the operating table was nearly eight months pregnant. The doctor picked up a scalpel and made a transverse incision across her lower abdomen. Soon he was through the uterine wall, and removing a perfectly formed baby boy. The little boy was dead, of course, having been killed by lethal injection into the uterus the day before. It was March 1980, and the Chinese Party-State had just gotten deadly serious about population control. The year before, Vice Premier Chen Muhua, the female head of China’s Family Planning Board, had let it be known that “Socialism should make it...

I have a large family. Yes, I have 5 children of my own, but I also have 23 nieces and nephews and 30+ great-nieces and nephews. Large. And we’ve heard it all. “Don’t you know what causes that?” (usually chortled with an accompanying poke in the ribs.) “Are you done now?” “Wow, you’ve got your hands full…” (translated: “Dear heavens, what is wrong with you people??”)It’s all good. Say what you want; we like having loud family gatherings, trying to figure out how many chairs we’re going to need for Thanksgiving, buying in bulk and generally holding up our end of...

Although he admits it “sounds blatantly authoritarian” and “violates just about every core value we possess in a free society,” a noted transhumanist author has said a world government body should forcibly sterilize anyone “deemed unworthy” of parenthood by using implanted microchips. Constitutional attorney and civil liberties expert John W. Whitehead, founder of The Rutherford Institute, warned LifeSiteNews.com earlier this year that political officials would long to use this seminal technology. In an article for Wired.com today, philosopher Zoltan Istvan wrote that the notion first crossed his mind when he heard a blonde nurse say, “with 10,000 kids dying everyday...

The language of the e-mails is hyperbolic and hate-filled. They come from population control groups that are indignant about the House of Representatives Bill which would re-institute the Mexico City Policy. They call it a “Mean-spirited, anti-women agenda.” And they say it’s “Playing ping-pong politics with women’s lives,” “Out of touch,” and “Inconsistent with U.S. policy.” And that’s just in the headlines! So just what is this “mean-spirited” Mexico City Policy? Put simply, it prohibits US taxpayer dollars from going to organizations which “promote or perform abortions” as a part of “population planning activities or other population assistance.” What could be wrong with...

Sean Long of Newsbusters reports: Ehrlich, a Stanford University biologist famous for his widely debunked book “The Population Bomb,” doubled down on his climate change and overpopulation fear-mongering with HuffPost Live on May 21.

Billionaire investor Warren Buffett is being called "the true face of abortion." The Media Research Center's Culture and Media Institute discovered that Buffett gave roughly $1.2 billion to abortion groups around the world between 2001 and 2012. That's potentially enough money to abort the entire population of Chicago -- or more than two-and-a-half million lives. Among the groups Buffett helped fund are Planned Parenthood, NARAL and the Population Council. The biggest portion, almost $300 million, went to Planned Parenthood. The major media outlets often report on Buffett's "philanthropy," but they've ignored his billion dollar abortion funding. "The liberal media love...
