More Mexicans view the United States unfavorably than at any time in the past decade and a half. Nearly two-thirds of Mexicans (65%) express a negative opinion of the U.S., more than double the share two years ago (29%). Mexicans’ opinions about the economic relationship with their country’s northern neighbor are also deteriorating, though less dramatically: 55% now say economic ties between Mexico and the U.S. are good for their country, down from 70% in 2013. This erosion of Mexico’s goodwill toward the U.S. coincides with low approval of American President Donald Trump and one of his signature policies. An...

If you feel like your First Amendment rights as an American are being trampled on, it might be because a staggering number of people don’t know what they are. According to a recent survey by the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania, a mind-boggling 37 percent of respondents either didn’t know or couldn’t name any of the five First Amendment rights guaranteed to all Americans by the Constitution: speech, religion, press, assembly and petition. The survey was conducted August 9-13 among a group of 1,013 U.S. adults who were 18 years old and older. Respondents were from...

Hillary Clinton is back today with a new book, "What Happened," to further explain why Donald Trump is president instead of her. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that just 30% of Likely U.S. Voters believe Clinton still has a future in public life. Sixty-one percent (61%) say it's time for her to retire, up from 55% just after she lost the presidential election to Trump last November. Half (49%) of voters believe Clinton's continued presence...

The Messed Up Media are so desperate to run down the President and , more importantly, show themselves to be the arbiters AND reflectors of truth, that they have taken to using the most biased information available if it backs up their point. The problem is that people don’t look at the raw data for the polls, and are therefore easily fooled. The latest poll doing the rounds is from Public Polling Policy, who have done an attitude and opinions study based on current political happenings. If you do have the time, take a look at the questions covered AND...

A majority of respondents in a new poll believe that Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton committed a crime by using private email server to conduct State Department business. Just 30 percent said it was "unlikely" that Clinton violated the law. Nineteen percent of Democratic voters in the poll said it was "very likely" that the 2016 Democratic nominee for president had committed...

Underscoring the adage that you don't know what you've got until it's (almost) gone, the popularity of Obamacare is surging. Only weeks after Republicans in Congress failed to repeal the landmark health reform law, 52 percent of respondents hold a favorable view of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), according to a recent Kaiser Family Foundation August poll. That's up 10 percentage points since June of last year and nearly 20 points since November 2013, when public support for the ACA was at its nadir. A July poll by CBS News after the repeal effort collapsed found that a plurality of...

The latest poll to take the temperature of the American people regarding their government shows voters are fed up with Congress in general. But one member of congressional leadership is faring worse than the others. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi scored a 48 percent unfavorable rating from those polled. A new poll for Republicans and Republican-leaning voters, posted on Twitter by Tony Fabrizio, Trump's pollster during the 2016 presidential campaign, reveals they are losing faith in Congress faster than they are in Trump. One potential factor: the Republican-controlled Senate fell a vote shy in late July of passing a bill that would have repealed elements of the Affordable Care Act. Republicans have promised for years to repeal the ACA if given control.
