WWL-TV in New Orleans has confirmed the Coast Guard is responding to a rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico. Dozens are reported injured. According to the Coast Guard, it happened 80 miles south of Grand Isle. Rescue choppers from New Orleans and Houston are responding.
