HOUSTON, April 10 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- NASA astronauts and managers of the Orion Project, America's spacecraft for a new generation of explorers, will recognize the Phoenix community's role in space exploration this week. The astronauts and managers will be in Phoenix to participate in a quarterly status review of the Orion Project, which is designing spacecraft and support systems that will enable voyages to the moon, Mars and beyond. Honeywell Aerospace, headquartered in Phoenix, is working with Lockheed Martin and NASA to design, develop and produce much of the computerized navigation hardware and software, displays, controls and navigation for Orion.
