A Virginia man’s personal information has been stolen after he signed up for Obamacare on the healthcare.gov website. Now, he’s questioning if the website is the reason why. “There’s a possibility someone got my personal information from your website,” Virginia Beach resident Rich Guillory said in a video shot by WVEC-VA while speaking on the phone. “They knew my name and they had my number” — along with his address and social security number as well. he day after he signed up on the website, he got a call from someone claiming they could help him with finding health insurance....

It's odd, the places from which I draw inspiration for my writings. I was driving with my wife yesterday, looking for a black powder rifle to buy, and happened to come across a road sign. It is a sign I have seen countless times before, but it struck me for some reason yesterday. It was a warning a few hundred yards before I crossed a bridge, making sure I understood that the bridge may ice in cold weather. I have nothing against such signs and they do serve the purpose to make sure drivers are warned about the possible dangers...

Ted Cruz was on with Glenn Beck this morning and made the following excellent point: “If they [Democrats] are right — that what we’re doing is hopeless, is doomed to fail, which mind you they’ve been telling us for months — then why are they screaming so loudly? Why are they getting so personal? Why are they so filled with hate and fear? And it’s because the American people are mobilized, are passionate and energized and even worse, understand that Obamacare is hurting millions of Americans, and that has the Left terrified out of their minds.”

The Obama administration, already under fire for the IRS scandal and National Security Agency snooping of the computers and cellphones of Americans, is also spending millions to have private contractors conduct a dragnet for confidential and personal credit and bank transactions without a warrant. Newly obtained documents from the Obama-created Consumer Financial Protection Bureau reveal that the administration has OK'd a project to accumulate the personal financial data of some 5 million and share it with other agencies to build a "nationally representative panel of credit information on consumers for use in a wide range of policy research projects." The...

So where do we go from here? The election is over and the sun came up. In a little while I am off to my little art gallery downtown, I'll open my doors and wait for folks to come in to buy my art. I know the economy is no better off today that it was yesterday, I know the residents of this area of Illinois have no more money now that they did twenty four hours ago, so I might just be waiting in vain for those sales, I might be sitting alone today with no one to talk...

I believe conservatives should be preparing for what is less than 3 months away. We need to be in the political fight with our resources, not wasting on entertainment, vacations to blue states and cities, consumer goods like IPhone. One, if Obama is reelected do you think any of those things are going to matter. Two, be preparing for the huge tax increase that is coming so why would you want to buying Christmas gifts with credit cards 20% interest rates especially in October. I'm talking about spending on needs not wants, if something breaks and you have to fix...

It's time once again for a Hopenchange flashback, courtesy of Buzzfeed: President Obama's reelection campaign has taken criticism for the negative tone of 2012 campaign. One of President Obama's deputy campaign managers, Stephanie Cutter, suggested that his Republican rival Mitt Romney might be a felon. And while some of the attacks seem to be a dig into the candidate's personal lives — such as a DNC ad featuring Mrs. Romney's horse — in 2008 then Senator Obama promised to fire anybody on his staff who did such negative attacks. “I have been very clear to my campaign. I do not...

Hi FReepers, The company I'm working for is attending a trade show early next month. I'm looking for something to do in the Seattle area that can accommodate 30 people, and I need something that's close to the Bell Harbor Int'l Conference Center preferably walking distance. I have advocated Gingrich staying in until sometime in March. I felt the vote splitting would help prevent Romney from locking up a sufficient number of bound delegates to take the nomination. The plan did a good job so far, but not a great job. I think now the mathematics is shifting such that Gingrich needs to bow out. The reasons for the shift are: 1. winner-take-alls coming up soon - vote splitting begins to really hurt us in these primaries 2. we need money consolidating behind Santorum. 3. Santorum made the Indiana ballot after all But now Gingrich needs...

For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.Ecclesiastes 9:12 Recent events have forced me to see how frail I am, and what a miracle it is to be alive and to know and love God! I have known those things before, but such knowledge is elusive, I keep forgetting them, and slipping back into the illusion that all my current blessings are certain to...

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — Americans spent more money than they took in July — largely on auto purchases — as the personal savings rate fell, the government reported Monday. The income of U.S. workers rose 0.3% in July, but spending climbed an even faster 0.8%, the Commerce Department said. The rise in spending matched the increase in February as the largest since summer 2009... Inflation, meanwhile, rose 0.4% based on the latest reading from the personal consumption expenditure price index. The index has increased 2.8% over the past 12 months, pressured by rising gas prices.
