Sarah Palin is hitting the road with her guns, fishing rods and “Mama Grizzly” persona. The former Alaska governor is returning to reality TV as host of “Amazing America,” a weekly series on the Sportsman Channel set to begin in April. According to its billing, Mrs. Palin “takes viewers coast-to-coast where the American spirit and the great outdoors are celebrated in equal measure.” “It takes a certain kind of pizzazz for a politician to make the move into reality television,” said Jeffrey McCall, professor of communication at DePauw University. “Harry Reid, for example, could never find a reality television platform...

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's endorsement last week has helped conservative Oklahoma Senate candidate T.W. Shannon shave 26 points from his deficit to close within nine points of Rep. James Lankford. This was revealed in a newly released Public Opinion Strategy poll of Oklahoma GOP primary voters that was conducted four days after her endorsement. In a February poll of likely GOP primary voters in Oklahoma, Shannon trailed Lankford by 35 points (16%-51%). A month later, Shannon trails Lankford by nine points (28%-37%), knocking 26 points from Lankford's lead. The survey, which was commissioned by Oklahomans for a Conservative Future,...

Via Mark Hemingway. Won’t these guys ever learn? This brings us to the May 13 primary for the open Senate seat in Nebraska, where the NRSC’s meddling is particularly hard to justify. The two top Republicans are Ben Sasse and Shane Osborn. Both men are impressive. Sasse is a fifth-generation Nebraskan and Yale Ph.D. He worked for Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey & Company, specializing in crisis management and turnaround projects. Just after 9/11, he worked in the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Policy. Later in the Bush administration, Sasse was an assistant secretary of Health and Human Services, where he...

Sarah Palin on Wednesday endorsed former Oklahoma House speaker T.W. Shannon (R) for his state's open U.S. Senate seat. Shannon is running against Rep. James Lankford and a number of other candidates in the Republican primary to replace Sen. Tom Coburn (R). The 36-year old has gotten some early buzz as the first African American to serve as House speaker in Oklahoma, but he remains an underdog, according to the most recent polls. "T.W.’s opponent has the backing of Beltway insiders, but T.W. has the passion and experience We the People need in Washington," Palin wrote on her Facebook page....

Nicolle Wallace, former adviser to the McCain-Palin 2008 presidential campaign who worked with Steve Schmidt, appeared on The View on Thursday and gushed over Chris Christie, Jeb Bush, and even Bill Clinton. Predictably, however, she trashed Sarah Palin. Wallace has tried to blame Palin for the incompetence she and the McCain team displayed during the 2008 campaign against then-Senator Barack Obama. The program played a clip from Game Change, which has been called out for numerous lies and inaccuracies, that allowed Wallace to whack Palin as someone who had a "gap in her knowledge" about issues. She didn't mention that...

Subscriptions will cost $10 per month. Rogue is expected to launch in April or May, and it would be one of the first of the digital channels offered by Tapp.

Framing the Mississippi Senate primary as a "clear fight for the future of the Republican Party against the entrenched interests of the permanent political class in D.C.," former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin endorsed conservative Mississippi state Senator Chris McDaniel on Thursday in his upstart bid against six-term incumbent Mississippi Senator Thad Cochran, who admitted that he was unfamiliar with the Tea Party movement that has put the Washington establishment on alert. "The Mississippi Senate race is a clear fight for the future of the Republican Party against the entrenched interests of the permanent political class in D.C. We desperately need...

CHRIS McDANIEL FOR U.S. SENATE FROM MISSISSIPPI Chris McDaniel has a proven record of fighting for conservative principles in the Mississippi State Senate. He has been a champion of limited government, free enterprise, civic participation, reduced tax rates, a strong national defense, and a return to the original checks and balances of the Constitution.

BEN SASSE FOR U.S. SENATE FROM NEBRASKA Ben Sasse is the clear conservative choice in the Nebraska Senate race. National Review calls him “Nebraska’s Obamacare Nemesis.” Ben is a proven problem solver. A few years ago, Ben took over as president of Midland University in his hometown. The school was on the verge of bankruptcy, but under Ben’s steady leadership and commitment to make tough decisions and reform old policies, Midland is on the path to recovery and has nearly tripled enrollment. Today, it’s the fastest growing school in the Midwest. We need those kinds of results in D.C.

In 1968, when Roger Ailes was not the all-powerful maestro of Fox News but just a whip-smart 20-something trying to make Richard Nixon look good in staged television town halls, he told a young journalist named Joe McGinniss, “This is the beginning of a whole new concept. This is it. This is the way they’ll be elected forevermore. The next guys up will have to be performers.” Indeed, Nixon’s presidential campaign set the standard of scripted salesmanship and calculated image-making for all contests to come — and to it we owe much of the stilted version of pseudo-reality that defines...

This week, liberals and their media lap dogs have once again revealed a part of their telling agenda: They want to ban the word "bossy". Yes. The word. Why? Because it's "offensive." It holds back the young, up and coming women leaders of the new generation. They believe, and want us to believe, that we cant think for ourselves or raise strong independent young conservative women because "bossy" is bad, ugly, hurtful, and degrading. It doesn't matter that "bossy" has and will be used by women toward their male bosses and that's OK. Nobody objects to that. But for...

Sarah Palin delivered CPAC’s keynote speech on Saturday with wit and feisty charm that ignited the conservatives in the crowd. Palin had no reservations about attacking Obama and his administration, jabbing at Obamacare, the NSA, and particularly the so-called war on women. “We know better than to fall for that victimization line,” she said. “But if you have a sister or a friend, you have to set them straight. They entice girls to think they need guys to grow government. That’s not liberation; that’s subjugation.” Displaying a copy of Dr. Seuss's Green Eggs and Ham, Palin changed the words and...

African American voters are ready to vote Republican. So says Oklahoma state representative and senate hopeful T.W. Shannon. Shannon, a black Republican, believes that African Americans in increasing numbers are ready to vote Republican and believes he can “move the needle” in swaying significantly more blacks to join. Shannon says that “blacks are ready to hear the conservative message that the onslaught of government dependency robs you of your dignity. The message is that conservative principles are what actually lead to prosperity, and we people that can articulate how that's been done, how they've seen it in their own lives,...

With an appearance on Bloomberg TV Tuesday, Former CNN president Jon Klein and former NBC entertainment chairman Jeff Gaspin announced their new online streaming video venture called TAPP, short for “TV App.” As for the types of personalities the pair hopes to feature on the service? According to Klein, Sarah Palin is exactly the type of person they are looking for. “We are not talking about specific talent,” Klein said in response to rumors that they have been in talks with Palin about the venture. “I will tell you that Sarah Palin is the kind of personality who has a...

NEW YORK (AP) - Joe McGinniss, the adventurous and news-making author and reporter who skewered the marketing of Richard Nixon in “The Selling of the President 1968” and tracked his personal journey from sympathizer to scourge of convicted killer Jeffrey MacDonald in the blockbuster “Fatal Vision,” died Monday at age 71.

Sarah Palin fired up thousands of conservative activists who came to hear her give the closing speech of the Conservative Political Action Conference outside Washington, D.C. this weekend. Palin hasn’t held elected office since she resigned as Alaska governor in 2009. But at this gathering of 11,000, she was an A-list star. The wind-up included a video montage of her greatest hits and tributes, and an introduction by NRA Executive Director Chris Cox. “Does anybody here love Sarah Palin?” Cox asked, getting a loud cheer. “Now, if I walked out there and asked 100 of you why you love Sarah...
