As usual, President Obama’s recent trip to the United Nations to give a speech sparked tremendous traffic jams in New York City. Not to worry, though, it’s not so bad. “I hear a lot of hype about New York traffic, but it didn’t look too bad to me,” the President said. “All the stories of bumper-to-bumper, stop-and-go traffic that I’ve heard showed no signs on my trip to the UN.” While Obama did concede that his experience may have been abnormal compared to what ordinary drivers have to deal with, he insisted that “putting up with a little extra congestion...

A special inspector general report on compensation for executives at General Motors and Ally Financial blasts the Treasury Department for allowing excessive pay at the companies as taxpayers lost billions of dollars on the auto bailouts. The watchdog group issuing the report monitors the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), which was set up to save financial corporations deemed "too big to fail" due to systemic risk to America's financial system. The program was expanded to allow for the bailing out of the auto industry, despite the questionable use of funds specifically designated for financial institutions. A NY Times piece...

A knife-wielding intruder allowed to run rampant through the first floor of the White House. Bullets that struck the window of Barack Obama's private residence but went unnoticed for days. A presidential bodyguard so drunk he passed out in hallway of a hotel. These are just some of the recent incidents that have shaken confidence in the Secret Service, the elite agency assigned to protect Mr Obama, his family and the White House. On Tuesday, Julia Pierson, the Secret Service's director, will face a grilling from members of Congress and a battle to convince them that her agents are up...

With Obama MIA in almost 60 percent of his PDB, where is he getting his information? Aside from the Arabs, who would back him 100 percent, Western leaders signing up for the ragtag coalition to take on ISIS, should be asked by their masses why they would send soldiers into a battle led by a pretend general who plays AWOL at 60 percent of his intelligence sessions. For whatever his reasons, President Barack Obama has blundered into the mideast war with no intel in his strategy arsenal.

With the recent break-in at the White House, in which a man scaled the mansion's fence and made it inside, people across the nation are discussing its implications. Do we need a second fence? How could security be so lax? Is the President and his family safe? On the Left, however, the questions are different. Namely, they are: How can we blame Republicans for this? Are tea partiers behind this? And, of course, is the racist right-wing pushing for the President's assassination? A number of liberals on twitter and liberal websites such as Daily Kos and Democratic Underground shout a...

What, other than its racial aspect, can explain why Obama is so hung up on Ferguson? At the Congressional Black Caucus dinner Saturday, he was back stoking the embers. “Too many young men of color feel targeted by law enforcement, guilty of walking while black or driving while black — judged by stereotypes that fuel fear and resentment and hopelessness.” Obama is here implying that Michael Brown was profiled, judged “guilty of walking while black,” when shot and killed. But that is false, and Barack Obama knows it is false.

Meg Kissinger is a seasoned reporter at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Wisconsin’s well-known newspaper. She’s seen a lot in her days. But what she said happened at a speech by Michelle Obama in the state on Monday left her utterly “creeped out.” Kissinger took to her Facebook and Twitter page to describe what happened. In short, she said, aides for both the first lady and Wisconsin Democratic candidate for governor, Mary Burke, told her she was banned from talking to members of the crowd. Kissinger was in Hudson, Wisconsin, covering the first lady’s speech in which she was stumping for...

A new Government Accountability Institute (GAI) report reveals that President Barack Obama has attended only 42.1% of his daily intelligence briefings (known officially as the Presidential Daily Brief, or PDB) in the 2,079 days of his presidency through September 29, 2014. The GAI report also included a breakdown of Obama’s PDB attendance record between terms; he attended 42.4% of his PDBs in his first term and 41.3% in his second. The GAI’s alarming findings come on the heels of Obama’s 60 Minutes comments on Sunday, wherein the president laid the blame for the Islamic State’s (ISIS) rapid rise squarely at...

An internal Secret Service report revealed more than “1,000 security breaches and vulnerabilities,” according to a House investigator who said that a “politically correct” culture is endangering President Obama. “There are new details that will come out that — you really have to question if security is their number one objective,” Representative Jason Chaffetz (R., Utah), who sits on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee that is holding a Tuesday hearing on the Secret Service, tells National Review Online. “They want to be politically correct.” Chaffetz backs that up by reference to the Secret Service’s statement on the most...

President Obama’s 60 Minutes interview, taped last Friday and aired Sunday, is turning out to be a disaster for him, and may even be a tipping point of sorts. There are six dimensions to the disaster.1. By blaming the intelligence community for his failure to act on the ISIS threat, he ensured that a series of damaging leaks will be coming, and they are already starting. The UK Daily Mail, always far less constrained than the American media when it comes to revealing information damaging to the American progressive establishment, quotes “an administration insider,†summarized in its own bullet points:...

So, this guy, who we have heard nothing about, jumps the fence and get's into the inner bowels of the white house, with a KNIFE, a knife is the muslims favorite weapons, it is what they cut heads off with. So, who is this guy, where did he come from, what was he after, and who does he work for? Iran threatens brutal attacks on Americans, Obama family if US hits Syria As Congress debates whether to support President Obama’s call for a limited strike against Syria for the alleged use of chemical weapons, Iran is vowing to back Bashar...

RUSH: Here's Pam in Homer, Alaska, as we head back to the phones. Thank you for calling. Great to have you here, Pam. Hi. CALLER: Hi. I'm so excited to talk to you. I've got so many questions for you, but I'm gonna -- RUSH: Well, fire away. CALLER: (giggling) RUSH: I love answering questions. I absolutely adore questions, and there's nobody better you could ask. CALLER: (giggling) RUSH: So this is gonna work well. CALLER: I want to bypass my questions for a second 'cause I think there's a more important thing I want to tell you, and it's...

Oh dear! We really wished to keep this one “in the family” butt some blabbermouth had to go and spill the beans about what really went down the night the White House’s first, second and third lines of defense were breached. What next? Is somebody going to claim that “the Intelligence Community” didn’t really “miss the ISIS threat,” somebody else did that?“What do you see Mr. President?” “Uh, uh,uh - it looks like a cat…in a hat. Right?”I sure hope it wasn’t Molsterman who broke rank and let the cat out of the bag, so to speak. “I see no...

The White House and left-wing media are pushing the ridiculous notion that 20% of college girls are raped. They base this statistic off of a highly questionable study at only two universities. In addition, the study included an expanded definition of sexual assault to include what amounts to drunken whore’s remorse. The fact is, one in five college girls are not the victims of sexual assault. Other studies indicate that around one in forty girls are the victims of rape or sexual assault. That number is too high but there’s a massive difference between 2.5% and 20%. One gets headlines,...

One of the biggest surprises on the midterm campaign trail is hearing President Obama echo President Reagan’s famous question by asking voters whether “you are better off than you were four years ago.” The question is the hammer in Obama’s toolbox for nailing down his Democratic majority in the Senate in this year’s midterm election. “By almost every economic measure, we are better off today than we were when I took office,” the president said in a Sept. 19 speech to the Women’s Leadership Forum, sponsored by the Democratic National Committee. Speaking to a Labor Day rally of union workers...

Unless someone very senior has been shredding the president's daily briefings and telling him that the dog ate them, highly accurate predictions about ISIL have been showing up in the Oval Office since before the 2012 election,' said a national security staffer in the Obama administration who is familiar with the content of intelligence briefings.

The Iraq War lies now mostly in the realm of myth. We have forgotten exactly how we got both into and out of the war. The October 2002 joint congressional authorization to go to war was not just about fears of weapons of mass destruction (WMD). Other worries prompted broad bipartisan support for the resolution. A majority of Democratic senators (as evidenced by their passionate speeches from the Senate floor) cited many of the resolution’s 23 writs. The latter were mostly concerned with things other than WMD: harboring terrorists, offering bounties for suicide bombers, giving refuge to at least one...

In a sympathetic profile just before his resignation, Politico said Eric Holder's biggest legacy may be "his quiet dismantling of the War on Drugs...." How he could have "accomplished" this without legislative authority from Congress – which is supposed to make and pass laws – is never really explained. He was an Attorney General described by President Barack Obama as "the people's lawyer." Anybody familiar with Marxist jargon knew exactly what Obama meant. At home and abroad, the Obama administration distributed weapons to America's enemies. Holder's area of expertise was facilitating weapons shipments to Mexican drug cartels, in a...
