WOODBRIDGE, Va. - Prince William County Police say they have one man in custody on the Northern Virginia Community College Woodbridge campus after shots were fired in a classroom. The campus was placed on emergency lockdown, but no injuries were reported. According to investigators, they were notified around 2:40 p.m. Tuesday of a student who was armed with a gun on the campus. Officers responded to the scene, and the college was put on lockdown. President Barack Obama says he recognizes the heavy price tag of revamping the health care system but that it would be much more costly to do nothing. A group of Hispanic illegal immigrants sued seven state colleges and universities yesterday in federal court, claiming the schools denied them admission because of their immigration status.
