Russian authorities busted an international arms operation Thursday as police staged raids across the nation, finding a number of firearms allegedly smuggled from the U.S. Russia's federal police agency released a video showing what appeared to be numerous arrests of men and women allegedly involved in the arms-dealing ring. According to RT, raids were staged in the cities of Yoshkar-Ola, Irkuts, Ulan-Ude and Moscow, resulting in the seizure of 19 firearms and an assortment of matching components, magazines and ammunition. A Texas grand jury has decided that a GIF can be just as deadly as a gun or knife. The U.S Department of Justice and a Dallas grand jury issued indictments Monday against John Rayne Rivello, who is accused of intentionally tweeting a Graphic Interchange Format (GIF) animation designed to Newsweek journalist Kurt Eichenwald in order to provoke an epileptic seizure. The grand jury's indictment refers to the GIF as "a deadly weapon," along with a tweet, an "electronic device," and Rivello's hands.

Donald Trump has set record low approval ratings at this early stage of his presidency. But in the White House and the Republican leadership, Trump is far from alone in his unpopularity, a poll conducted by the Saint Leo University Polling Institute earlier this month has indicated.

Six years ago, Newsweek sold for a grand total of one dollar. Many would say that amount was way overpriced and one big reason is the completely unprofessional sick smear job they are pulling on Donald Trump. Newsweek senior political reporter Kurt Eichenwald is backing away from his report that supporters of Donald Trump booed when the president-elect eulogized the astronaut John Glenn at an Iowa rally Thursday night. Eichenwald's retraction came three hours after the original message about jeering at the Trump rally. "Trump supporters booed John Glenn when Trump mentioned his name at today's rally," Eichenwald wrote in the original tweet, which has now been deleted. "A real American hero risked his life for us. A national recall went out Wednesday for the special “Madame President” issue of Newsweek that was prematurely shipped to stores and newsstands across the country. Alexander Nazaryan, senior writer for Newsweek, on social media Wednesday compared the Cruz campaign in Iowa to the Nazi Beer Hall Putsch in a gross Tweet featuring the Nazi swastika flag. Eventually, Nazaryan deleted the tweet. He then tweeted an "explanation" for why he deleted it (but not an apology).
