Ground Zero Victory Mosque Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf issued a threat to America in his interview with CNN this week. The radical imam warned that if America did not get down on its knees and allow the victory mosque to be built on the bones of dead Americans that… “They will attack.”

VINEYARD HAVEN, Mass. — The White House says President Barack Obama will have no further comment on the mosque near Ground Zero in New York and the administration will not get involved in talks about relocating the controversial facility. Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton was asked about the issue Tuesday at a White House press briefing. He replied, "No, and no" to the questions of whether Obama would weigh in further, or whether the White House would have a role in discussions about moving the mosque.

As soon as President Obama endorsed the Muslim community's right to build an Islamic Cultural Center two blocks from Ground Zero, the political speculation mill started churning. Republican operatives crowed about how Obama was taking a position that only a minority of Americans hold. New audio has surfaced of the imam behind the controversial mosque near Ground Zero allegedly telling an audience overseas that the United States has been far more deadly than al-Qaeda. A half-dozen Republicans have signed a letter criticizing the way some members of their party have responded to the proposed Muslim community center and mosque near ground zero in Manhattan. Imam Khalid Latif, a chaplain for New York University and the New York Police Department, recently appeared on CNN.
