How is this any different than Islamic law in, say, Turkey (Obama's favorite and most trusted ally)? In October, 43-year-old Fazil Say went on trial in Turkey for "denigrating" Islam for a series of tweets earlier that year. In one of his messages he had retweeted a verse from a poem by Omar Khayyám, in which the 11th-century Persian poet attacks pious hypocrisy. This is the same thing. During an appearance at the Muslim Advocates annual dinner on Thursday, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch said since 9/11, the Justice Department had "over 1,000 investigations into acts of anti-Muslim hatred, including rhetoric and bigoted actions," and more than 45 prosecutions as a result. The Obama White House has finally released the names of the fourteen Muslim “leaders” who met with the President this past week.
